Pokemon Legends: Arceus Nuzlocke Rules:
1. I can only USE one Pokemon I see per route!
(the Pokemon can be chosen, and all new designs are allowed ONCE as a bonus)
2. I must nickname every Pokemon
3. If a Pokemon dies, it's dead forever
4. If the player character dies, the nuzlocke ends
5. No potions in battle
6. Subscribe!

This guy is emitting such positive energy it's nuts. Look at him just enjoying the game like he is a kid all over again. I never personally owned a Pokémon game when I was young, but nuzlocking has sparked the love for these games again even though I am in my twenties - and I'm sure there are many people feeling this way.

I'd say that the parts of each area that are labeled with a name on the map are arguably the routes of this game

@@curryhurrys: true, but there are so many labeled spots on each map that's still a lot more catches than a typical nuzlock. Especially in contrast to just how few mandatory battles are in this game. Kinda feel like to make a nuzlock in PLA any kind of challenge at all, it would maybe also need to be restricted to in battle catches only. That way there's more risk to the player's Pokémo, and also a chance to miss catches with accidental KOs.

I think Moxies reaction was probably everyone's reaction when playing this game.. It was like we were kids and discovering the world of Pokémon for the first time all over again ❤ Can't wait to see the rest of this! Hopefully you're also just doing a casual playthrough on the side so you can fully enjoy everything this game offers

@@Vashtorr758 Well I've finished the game it's honestly really good, but I just want to warn you, nuzlocking will be very hard and very long so be ready to tryhard a bit and xp grind too (you normally don't really have to, but If you're catching only 1 pokemon by route you'll definitely have to)

Lol, I basically did a monotype on accident. I chose Cinda as my starter, firdt thing I do is run into thid really sick monferno so I have to catch it of course. Than I do the shiny ponita so that goes on my team of course and thats already half my team fire type. Not to mention that theres Hisuian arcanine...

Yeah,the alphas or even multiple wild pokemon encounters where they also get additional boost to their stats.And there are so many of such encounters......I don't even know how extremely rough the nuzlocke is gonna be in this game. And not to forget about the 5 lord Pokemon(boss fights),😑

The Eevee struggles are real. I've been going through that pain, too. I distracted it with a berry and hit it in the back with a Great Ball and still failed to catch it. RNG hates me.

I was waiting to watch this video in full, I’m usually a lurker but I found your channel recently and have been absolutely loving it :) I was excited to see you play this game. my favorite part was your reaction to shinx getting enraged in the beginning haha, I got 2 shinies really early, I got a shiny shinx while my cyndaquil was level 15 and a shiny drifloon after that! I got it when it came out yesterday and I absolutely love it it looks stunning though I do agree that the textures are a little lacking other than that it looks absolutely gorgeous. I only done six of the main story missions but I played this game for almost 7 hours and barely progressed the story I was just so enamored and taken aback by the wide open exploring environment that I just kind of walked around caught and fought stuff for like 6 hours it's so fun I'm excited to progress the story but at the same time I just kind of want to enjoy the open environment and all the cute Pokemon running around

@@NoThankUBeQuiet you would catch the first pokemon you get in each part of the place,and even if you have to catch other pokemon,you can only use the first one you caught. To remember the first one you caught,you could go and name it. The rest is the same

I think it's genuinely impossible to Nuzlocke this thing because of how catching Pokemon is what helps you progress, and it's more difficult to increase your Pokedex and rank if you're only catching one Pokemon per area

I think that's why he said " I can only use one per area." You can catch as much as you want, but can only use one extra apart from the starter, like only Shinx from Aspiration Hill, only Ponyta from Horseshoe Hills and so on.

Also eevee becomes easy to get once distortions start appearing and the eeveelotutions. I have caught eevee, flareon, sylveon and umbreon. Taking the game slow af to milk it. This game really takes into account type match ups. You can't just get 20 levels ahead and steam roll it.
