Aloe Vera, cactus gel can be great conditioners. I still use them to replace store bought ones sometimes. I love this and i love your educational video to girls in school.❤️💚

The braids came out beautiful. Very neat and put together. My hair is on the fine side. I would definitely need a leave in conditioner but I think I would like to try and experience what you did. I am from Cuba but my ancestors are from Sierra Leone. I have been working on growing my natural hair for years. It's a process. In the village there is still little knowledge on hair care, even in salons, they wash, blowdry and style. The rest have to be initiated by the customer.

I think this village is a "large minority" but does not represent all of Africa, because there are many other countries and villages in Africa known for their hair care and their beautiful hair, you just chose the wrong place ☺ It would be good if you went to West Africa (Senegal, Mali, Mauritania: Peulh), Central Africa (Chad, Cameroon: Fang-Beti, Congo) or even South West Africa (Namibia, Angola: Himba, Mbalantu) or even East Africa (Ethiopia, Afar, Sudan,...) in places where people are really known for their hair 😉☺

I honestly thought she was going to bring out the natural hair products! Shea butter, aloe vera, castor oil, clay, etc. The store bought shampoo and conditioner threw me off.
