You guys, I recommend these channels that will teach you how to take better care of your hair. : cozily dairies, Green Beauty, Precious Fro. Remember guys,it’s difficult because you don’t have a routine yet, and you aren’t doing thing that aren’t meant for you hair type. I went through this too. I almost gave up. But now my hair is thriving with a simple routine and things that work for my hair type 4c.

I am so glad you are brining our young ladies back to their natural hair. Nigerian movies encourage wigs. But South African movies give positive representation of women with natural hair and braids. I hope Nigerian Movies studios hire you to show the beauty of our hair.

Rest and stop pushing your xenophobic home views on Nigerians,Nigerians exist outside movies,it's too hot to wear wigs all day or anytime like in those movies, you sit in your home and talk about thing you don't know, tueh

Even in the U.S. i wish I had gotten this kind of hair education as a child! I think if you ever did this again, it'd be nice to have a big poster or handouts showing the steps of moisturizing hair, detangling, and super simple protective styles before bed. They say in outreach a picture is worth a thousand words and really sticks with the audience better!

As a humanitarian actively engaged in the humanitarian and developmental sector, I must commend Adana for this remarkable work. It's a facet that we haven't fully explored in our campaign for empowering women and girls. Helping African children regain confidence in their natural hair is not only essential but also transformative. Embracing and celebrating our natural beauty is a vital step towards self-empowerment and cultural pride. There's need to refocus our campaign as an individual and a collective to include empowering women and girls to embrace their natural beauty and heritage. This approach will not only foster confidence but also celebrates diversity and promotes self-esteem among the younger generation. Congratulations Sis for the 1M subscriber. Adanna Madueke is an household name already. One love🎉

Congratulations on your success. This is such a powerful video. I am African American and for years I thought African women were the experts on what to do with our hair but later, as an adult, learned that we Black/African/ African American women around the world have our own challenges and techniques for how we treat, manage, and style our hair. You have truly educated me. You're awesome. Continue doing what you do!

I was born and raised in Nigeria. I remember with I was like 9 years old my dad had to cut my hair because I was crying too much. My mom was combing my hair dry and with no hair product. I gave them permission to cut my hair because it was painful. I remember when I came to California. My aunty was wondering why my parents would cut my hair. I am now 27 years old with a very healthy and beautiful hair.

Congratulations on reaching one million subscribers. Well done! Wow! Adana, what a fantastic initiative you took to go to a school in Nigeria, Africa to educate young Black girls about how to take care of and love their natural hair. This is a conversation that is long overdue. It should be a part of every school’s curriculum for young Black girls. This topic is relevant and it matters because our natural, kinky, coily, hair is often seen as less than the beautiful crowning glory that it is. My hair has been natural for almost 5 years now and I love my coils. I’m sure you made their year. Keep preaching about the love and appreciation for our natural hair. I will continue to follow your channel. Thank you!

Adanna this means a lot! Learning to accept our unique selves before asking others too! My natural hair was uncontrollable for in while in secondary school and I only comb at the hairdressers most times and I eventually permed it, but now I know better and I’m back on my natural hair and I love my natural hair! Thank you for also breaking the stigma associated to natural hair like it was only for spirikokos and SUs

I'm honestly very emotional right now, Miss Adanna, thank you sooooo much for this, it must have not been easy. What I love about this is the fact you went to nigerian schools to teach young kids and teens like me on how to care for their natural hair properly. I hope and pray that this is just the beginning of a new age on proper natural hair care and love for our coily hair in Nigeria (and not just in high end salons but with everyone and every salon). I pray that God continues to strengthen you in all of your endeavours even ones outside of this in Jesus'name. Amen.❤❤
