This plant is really effective. I have a friend at the gym who is almost completely bald and when he starts drinking this his hair become so thick within a few months. Better than expensive hair growth treatment.

I am drinking this tea too. I dry some flowers and store them in a glass jar. I also put in fresh flowers along with fruit smoothies.

Just came across this video by chance. I am butterfly pea tea drinker for a few months now. It is really helpful as anti-stress. It also helps me in lowering my blood pressure. I take it regularly before bed time, soon after drinking this, I would fall asleep , so it is really helping me to relax and get enough rest. But for the weight loss benefits, I don't actually see any significant changes in my weight. But may be it will work along with a strict diet. For my fisrt few cups, I added 1 calamansi(local PH citrus fruit). But one time, I was able to try is without calamansi, and felt like it has sweet aftertaste (naturally). So I started to take it without anything, and I noticed that it actually improved my bowel movement. That's it for my personal review. 😉

It’s not bad as an occasional mood elevator, but it’s active component is acetylcholine. I think the benefits fall off really fast over time (perhaps unless you increase dose progressively, which I have not / would not do since acetylcholine’s effects on focus, mood, and stress becomes paradoxical at high doses, meaning it makes things worse at high doses. The effective dose is also very individualized. Anywhere from 3mg per kg of body weight to 30 mg per kg of body weight is considered an effective dose. Blue pea flower powders and teas are not standardized for acetylcholine contend but 100 mg / kg of body weight per day of blue pea flower diffused into water (i.e., tea) has been shown as effective as 25, 50, and 100 percent higher doses in terms of increasing acetylcholine in the brain of animals, so although 30 times that is non toxic, i would not recommend consuming more than 5-15 grams of blue tea flowers per day (there us about 100 grams in a typical bag of the powder normally available on the internet).

I would just like to share my experience with this plant, particularly, its flower. Well, since I already knew that it is safe to drink as tea, I thought to myself, then maybe it's edible, and so i thought, why not try eating it.. And so I did.. I picked one flower and tried munching it and finally, ate it.. The result was, it has no bitter taste at all, or no unpleasant taste at all.. It tasted just like similar to a tasteless thing , or like a paper or tissue that's wet... Just like the taste of water.. But what's funny was that it colored the inside of my mouth especially my tongue just like its color, which is blue...I looked strange or like an alien with my mouth looking like that.. By the way, I also felt in my throat after a few minutes ago that I ate or swallowed it, that there was a bit of sting, or maybe not sting, but a bit of itch.. But the itch was not unpleasant or it was nothing to worry about because it was a super mild itch and it only lasted for a minute or two.. So great to know that, there's a lot of health benefits from drinking it as a tea, and maybe from eating it, too.. Though, I only tried it once. And i will surely try to do it regularly, eating the flower or drinking it as a tea.. I realized, I should not eat it again to avoid looking strange...hahaha... I should just drink it, but not with hot water maybe, since heat or cooking destroys and kills the nutrients (vitamins and minerals) and turns them into acids.. And I remember now, why I initially mentioned or still wrote above that I will still eat it because of this reason...hehe
