Well this channel debut got a smidge more attention than I was expecting, so I feel like I should say something. First, thank you very much for the warm welcome. The plan was to upload once a month since it's a realistic pace with life and the time it takes to edit, but ill up it to twice a month as soon as possible without sacrificing myself or the video quality. The next video wont be Bloons, but I will do a couple more Bloons videos before I move on (all black borders?). I'm looking forward to what comes next and I hope you'll enjoy it :) By the way, some folks got the impression this wasn't my first channel. They're right! It's called The Elk Enigma and it's a dead channel for the time being. I did achievement guides. If/when I get to do RU-vid full time maybe I'll hire an editor and revive the channel. I like making guides for people, the editing is just a lot. Oh and the first video on that channel is the first video I ever made, so if you want to see my bad content then by all means. Edit: When I say it's a lot of editing I mean the "Full Guide" videos, which are the only ones I'm actually proud of on that channel.
My favorite strategy is the Ninja Wizard. Get Bloonjitsu and Summon Pheonix and you're set for Moab's. I'd then buy super monkey and get him to plasma with super range. Sell the Ninja and wizard to buy sun god
@@mintmuffled Oh yeah btw Elite is not good, Strong for Maim Moab, First or Strong for Elite Defender and First for Bouncy Bullet, Supply Drop and Elite Sniper. Elite is the most useless targetting
As someone who have almost all beginner maps black borders, always try new strategies, it'll make the grind less boring; in easy/normal difficulties, you should always try to spawn camp bloons, cuz....i mean...it saves time; you should always change targettings cuz it can be the reason why u r alive.
I should point out that Monkey City doesn't make any extra money from *pops* compared to Monkey Town. Rather, it increases the money you get from *income sources* like farms, middle path snipers, merchantmen, etc. This tripped me up for a while because the descriptions for each upgrade aren't super clear. So, unless you need the range, the extra dart monkeys (PMFC anyone?) or if you plan on adding farms in radius, you can stop at Monkey Town.
when you have more than 3 towers in the alchemist's range 402 is better because the faster throwing also makes him throw buff potion faster, the 020 """strengthen brew""" only make the buff last a bit longer in case you didn't know
Fun Tip for Tack Shooters: the tacks spawn from a spot slightly above the center of the tower, so the best positioning is always going to be right under track as close as possible to it. We call this a kill-zone, where all the projectiles from a tower can hit a single bloon. This helps a bit for top path, but a LOT for middle and bottom path. so for example, the tack shooter at 7:06 would be MUCH more damage potent if it was placed a bit higher, flesh against the track above it. This turns the tower from a decent damage dealer to a super high burst damage MOAB-killer.
Yup. Monkey lane was my first too. I've been trying to get a new black border on the beginning maps every couple of days now. Btd6 just has much to do 💖
I actually personally find Apopalypse, Half Cash, Impoppable and sometimes ABR and Double HP Moabs way harder than Chimps! One little trick you may want to consider (especially on half cash, ABR and apopalypse) is to set your Alchemist's targeting to strong, so he'll prioritize throwing his potion at the lead bloons =)
Would like to say for people who don't know, you get the black border for doing CHIMPS without leaving the game, because you can reset a round that way. You can still get a gold border that way, but who enjoys imperfection?
Seeing you go 502 on the tack and 052 on the Wizard for Apopalypse was fuckin weird for me because I always go 205 for my tack and 025 for my Wizard (putting the Wizard just above the top left corner of the first loop so he spawns the zombloons in a more convenient place and the tack shooter where you put your villager so he can damage everything in the loop) and it’s always worked for me Interesting to see a slight variation
just a tip: 130 bomb shooter can be better than 032 in the later rounds because bigger explosions can hit more moabs at once. 230 isn't worth the huge price for heavy bombs tho
I wanted to check out more of your stuff, but after i checked your videos i noticed this is the only one. Amazing quality, subbed and waiting for more!
@@applepies4259 bruh wtf do you do when your playing, i only have 300 hours in 3 months and i have 5 black borders and every map has 1 easy, 1 medium and 1 hard medal at the least
@@stormstudios1 ohh I’m sorry I was completely exaggerating I’ve actually been playing for 3 months 😅 but I just play like when I got free time so mostly on weekends and I’m class
Only 582 subs??? Whatttt my man imma be able to say I’ve known you since less than 600 subs when you’re at 100k soon. 💯 dope video and amazing editing skills.
ngl its nice watching a new channel blossom and also watching a new gamer play the game how they wanna is nice and not bound by whats min max stats for what round. also for half cash id recommend using the hero geraldo his quincy statue grows in cash with each round and you can sell it without the penalty of halving the cash.
Looking forward to seeing more videos from you! Here’s a fun little video idea, you should black border bloody puddles now! It’s the second easiest map, you should really try it out! 😄😄
You should probably try some crackpot weird ass strategies. Engineer, ice and monkey ace? Try it. If you're stuck and just want to destroy easier maps, use a 402 boomerang, 204 tack shooter and a 320 village. Might even throw an alchemist in, but if you plan on adding more towers, go for a 402 alch instead of 420.
Good job! My guy knows about the struggle of round 4. awesome just A F.Y.I. You have to beat CHIMPS without restarting (Home Screen)to get the "Black Border" if not it becomes Gold border. I don't know if anyone has said that yet or not.
As someone who has black bordered every beginner map and most of intermediate and even some advanced maps, it’s cool seeing other peoples strategies. Ninja + Alch really is a great strategy but personally I think you should try switching up your strategies. Just using these 2 at the start of the game can make the game very stale very quickly. Try something new like maybe a Druid start or engineer start, or hell maybe even some wacky military monkeys like the mortar or dartling. Experiment and I guarantee you’ll have such a better experience overall
Quick tip: gwendolin, tack, alch and village/etienne tack alch village is even easier than alch ninja (as long as u use ur brain and get a 205 tack), and if u want a fully brainless playthrough u start with sauda. Also benjamin makes apopalypse easier. And than theres half cash which can not only be cheesed with banks which still give the same amount of money as normal for some reason, but also gets destroyed by 204 bomb shooter spam/alch + tack combo. Also as long as u have the free dart monkey and the more starting money monkey knowledge u can go free dart into sauda for a very easy round 3-28
I completed like 30-40 maps on one day with a Speed mod and when I closed my game it reset all my data, I was so pissed that I never tried to blackborder a map agai
Considering that there now infinite rewinds in chimps I’d consider you able to do an expert map if you pick the right one I’d suggest quad witch is hard but probably the easiest multi plane map in expert cuz Eaton path goes 3 dips before leaving so you really only need to protect 1 or 2 path or the easiest option flooded Valley because it only has one path instead of like 6
When I clicked on this I didn’t see the sub count from the quality I figured this was from the teen thousands to the fifty thousands so 360 when I clicks on the video was surprising you deserve more subs well anyways nice vid good luck with RU-vid
I black bordered a couple maps and my best tip is to use lead to gold and maybe rubber to gold on alch in half cash. Farming is pretty shit in half cash but lead to gold is really really effective with the monkey village bottom path to increase pop income. Also bottom path engineer is stupid on half cash
chimps is by far the best mode as you can come up with strats on the fray plus i did the 2tc on resort on chimps with nothing but a 250 MAD and a 502 GLAIVE LORD with some micro using the ability and also got the 2m pops achievement by beating balance on chimps using 025 tack zone, 500 permabrew, 420 primary mentoring and geraldo for early camo and extra benefits
- Uploads his first video on channel - Has a promising Thumbnail - Includes High quality editing, mic and good music choice - Good commentary to compliment his good mic - Refuses to Elaborate I'm immediately subscribing Bonus, he uses Elite Defender rather than shitting on it Hell he even credits his music and adds in their name
This itemized praise is more than I deserve man! I've had problems before where I hear good music in a video and can't figure out what it is. So if anyone wants my videos music it's all there, kinda like Indeimaus. Do people really not like elite defender? I thought he was better than maim moab since the tier 5 is so expensive.
@@mintmuffled First off, again I praise that you do what most RU-vidrs don't when it comes to crediting music Second, the BTD6 community is very split when it comes to their Opinion on Elite Defender, some see it as a great T5 considering its price and damage potential, while others say it's severely outclassed by other towers when it comes to damage, I'd say it's in a good spot ever since the buffs as it's Single Target DPS for around 25k is insane and it's grouped MOAB damage is just as cracked, not to mention Global Range, and it works well with Buffs and *especially* Debuffs which make up the majority of BTD6's Meta Sorry if this comment is a Miniature essay, Elite Defender is just my beloved, I will warn you, Reddit especially hates the tower, but it's Reddit so..
Elite Defender definitely has its place. It used to be able to pop leads on its own, but they took that away in one of the updates, so I think that may be part of the problem some people have with it. In maps where I'm running snipers, I like to run a 420 set to strong, then either a 205 or a 025 set to first for cleanup, depending on what I need and what other towers I have available. Sometimes you want your T5 to have a huge price to it (super monkey, anyone?), but other times, you just want a juggernaut dart monkey or an elite defender sniper and it kinda just depends on what you need for that particular map and point in the game =)
I blackbordered cubism in two days after buying btd6, I have watched so much bloons, I have played previous games, and I have played so much btdb1&2. It just came naturally, although cubism is probably the easiest map in the game
