I Tried Domino's Japan PICKLE PIZZA 

Dominoes is actually just a fan of Aki so they keep making weird af pizzas so she makes another video😂

The moment I saw Domino's pizza and aki,I immediately came here.

Joey: "For that price, we could have made our own pickles!" Aki: "Pickles?" Joey: "Ye." Aki: "......you mean pizz-" Joey: "I know what I said 👀"

Aki: This is the worst pizza, I've ever eaten. Dominio's: We accept that challenge and will come up with an even more bizarre pizza in the future.

Yet again we are glady gather here to see Aki eat the most bizzare types of pizza😂😭

As someone who loves Pickles, I see this as an absolute win

Actually america experiments with a lot of weird pizzas all the time (in small independent shops usually). Recently I tried a 'Red White and Blue' pizza that was topped with cream cheese, blueberries and red onions, which sounds weird but turned out fucking delicious

As some one from Minnesota- we had pickles pizza for a while (it was a big hit at the state fair last year) and we had pickles pizza the other day at work.

I love pickles (sometimes I will just eat pickles on their own for no reason. I blame my grandma, she canned pickles every year and they were SO DAMN GOOD)...however....I don't know that I would try a pickle pizza...to me that even seems a bit much on the pickle side. You are very brave to try something you absolutely hate for this channel. Aki, you are the GOAT.

Actually, it doesn't seem that bad. Growing up, I would go to the corner store and buy a pickle and a bag of chips all the time. I feel like if they experiment with the flavors, it could be good.

I love pickles but also... that is way too many, Papa Johns had a hamburger pizza awhile back that I would split with my husband and it had chopped pickles with... probably half of what was on that one slice throughout the ENTIRE pizza. It was pretty dang good! This though is just cheese and pickles, I would have just pulled off all but two per slice or all of them and ate it as a cheese pizza. Bless you for your suffering Aki

pickle pizza has actually been a bit of a trend in the US from like a year ago. a shop in newyork did a pie with pickles and a creamy dill sauce and it went viral on tictok so a few more places did it too

I swear we need this series to be called "Aki's Bizarre Pizza Adventure"-

Pickle Pizza is an iconic fair food where I live! (I'm p sure that Canada is obsessed with pickles especially considering our chip flavours) the one I get has a creamy dill sauce as well as cheese and its just a really nice balance. If you couldn't tell I do love our local pickle pizza but I also love pickles in general.. like any kind of pickle. Also deep fried pickles are really good! The local fair/rodeo loves having new weird foods every year. Like this year there was ketchup and mustard ice cream, mini doughnut boba lemonade, and a cherry koolaid chicken burger! I actually tried the koolaid burger, it was surprisingly good.

Freaking love that. Joey is like "With that price, we could make our own pickles and do this!" then Aki is like "Wait...make our own pickles?" and it proceeds from there with Aki confirming she heard right and Joey being like "Did I stutter!?"

We have a pizza place in Alaska that occasionally does a pickle Rick pizza. But it comes with garlic cream sauce, mozzarella and provolone cheeses, fried chicken, dill pickle chips, bacon, and garnished with spicy Sriacha sauce. I’ve never had it because I don’t like pickles either.

I think domino's is more like 20 $ now for a large pizza luckily there are cupons to help I usually spend almost 30 to 40 bucks because I get 1-2 pizzas and a cheesy bread

Pickles on Pizza is pretty common in the U.S.A in Minnesota atleast sometimes its baked under the cheese or sometimes you get a side of pickles to place on top

The main thing about pizza is the dough. If you can find a place that makes pizza with really good dough, you can order the most plain-Jane pizza from them, then put extra things on top, zap it in the oven for a few minutes, and there you go.

Theres a pizza place here in Alaska called The Hungry Robot that has a pickle pizza called The Dilly Dilly and its amazing. it has white sauce and lots of different cheeses though that cut the edge off the pickle. The whole menu is fun flavors though too.

Btw a sauceless pizza is not so uncommon, is actually a thing both italy and the italian part of switzerland and we call it Pizza bianca which mean literally white pizza because is without the tomato sauce and for certain toppings is actually better without the sauce because the various tastes wouldn't compliment each other

Donatos has a hot chicken pizza with buffalo chicken, ranch, cheese, pizza sauce, and GARNISHED with pickles. It’s really good! The pickles really help it.

Fyi, Malaysia's regular 9"Domino average around MYR40 (USD8) for the basic flavour options, while premium ones can cost around MYR10 (USD2) more. Just bought mine this morning 😁

the second-closest pizzeria to my place has one with pan-seared hot dog chunks, pickles, ketchup, topped with fried onions, and optional hot dog stuffed crust sprinkled with hot sauce.

Prices vary in the states and location of the stores or fast food. It will be a lot more expensive in cities and large towns compared to small towns.

Aki hasnt been to the US for a while. Most basic pizzas here can run about $12 for a small. Maybe 10 for a personal pan. Its usually around $15-17 on average for a whole pizza though at most spots

I learned from K-dramas that it’s common in Korea to serve a pickle with Italian food, maybe that’s where this concept came from? Wherever it came from, it can go back there now. 😂

There are a lot of variants of pickles. You should try polish pickles, which are a bit sweeter. Also in germany pickles could eaten as a main dish, but not the one's out of a glass. I guess they have too much acid. The bigger one's out of barrels are delicious.

In Span, Domino's is also very expensive (30 euros for a medium sized pizza) if you order through the main page. There is a promotions tab with the "actual prices". Seems pretty scumy since these "promotions" never go away, buy they're not added automatically. If you don't know about this you're going to be spending 3x the usual amount

Fun fact. There is a privately owned pizza shop hear in Perth Australia (in rockingham) that essentially made this pizza but added chicken and Kewpie Mayo. They called it the tokyo pizza xD... it was good in a weird way.

Unfortunately the cost of pizza has gone up in America. A large 2 topping with delivery is $36 after delivery charge.

In Texas you pay 20-30 bucks for a pizza depending the size. The normal size is 25,small is 20 and big is 30...not sure how much the family size pizza costs though.

I've heard of 'cheeseburger pizza' which comes with pickles, along with ground beef and a few other things, but I'd imagine that those latter ingredients sop up and counter the pickle juices, as they're supposed to. It sounds like this pizza just intensifies them, which... yeah. Doesn't sound like a great idea.

In the UK, most pizza places will rip you off if you're buying just one pizza, they do loads of multibuy/party deals but if you're a single person wanting a single pizza, sucks to be you! Incidentally, 5,000 yen is about £27. A large (13.5 inch) Domino's costs £23, although they don't do 16 inch/New Yorker size here, so it's not that far off!

Every time I have had pizza in Japan, it always shocked me the price. But, to answer your question, I looked up the equivalent at my local Domino's in the US. Without coupons, that would have cost me $25 before tax, before delivery. Still pricey, but half the price. If I did a deal (they usually have like 50% off coupons here or if you want medium, they have this $5 each item thing and you can get a medium pizza for $5 so I could definitely get it to that $10 or under range for just the pizza (delivery where I am is expensive and you add a tip on top). I like pickles, but I don't think I would like this pizza at all. As much as Aki never intended for this to be a series, I look forward to the next pizza Domino's Japan will inevitably come up with for Aki to try.
