Hola Star puppy, The way to test gel before you put it in your hair. Mix the styler with the leave in, in your hand. If it balls up then it will flake in your hair. If it mixes well then it will combine well in your hair.

I don't t put blue magic on my scalp. I start about a inches more from my scalp and go to the ends. Each application keeps my hair from going back dry for over a week or two. I have high porosity hair and am just now finding out from the natural hair community why I have to have a routine to constantly fight dryness. You are one of my favorites.
You gotta use the curls BLUEBERRY curl paste for your edges! It works wonders for my daughter when I'm doing her twists.. it's the only thing that works. Not too much... not too little. Just enough. Love your channel and your personality lol and Fluff Nugget is growing beautifully

With the eco styler you just gotta pair it with the right products. I use the black Castor and flaxseed one and I love it. I haven’t tried another one of theirs as that one is PERFECT. it’s way better than wet line to me
Lotta Body Milk & Honey is gold. It's the only Mousse that gives me medium hold with great moisture for days. Other Mousses have my hair bone dry within 24hrs. On another note can you try onion oil to see if it actual works for thin fine hair?
Dutch person who had German classes chiming in here about Schwarzkopf! 1) wow you said that really well actually, that's... that's impressive! 2) while it does translate to "black head" (hence also the silhouette logo of a head), you might be happy to hear that it's based on the founder's last name (Hans Schwarzkopf), and based on how surnames originated in Poland we can assume his ancestor had black hair XD
Gurl same, I bought the coconut eco styler they put sparkles in it but it’s flaky af. I have Murray’s to seal my ends, just perfect. My hair loves leave in sprays, butters, thick gels, and creams all day.

I despise aunt Jackie’s products. The elongating gel, does not elongate and is crunchy and dry. And when I try to remoisturise my hair it gets bitty and nasty. I did like the curl custard until it started beading up too. It’s strange because I don’t think eco styler is flaky, I always apply wet to all my hair. I can’t remember whether my hair is high or low porosity. It shrinks but not by loads and soaks up products like I’ve not even out any on. I would say my hair is 4a or 4b. So I need heavy defining gels. Thanks for this evaluation summary as I’ve watched most of your videos where you’ve tested these.

I’ve been natural for 7 years and have been doing wash and goes for only a year. I’ve tried every combination of gels and moisturisers to help with moisture and definition. I’ve tried most of what Danielle has used BUT ... a couple of weeks ago I tried the S curl curl activator and aunt Jackie elongating gel and 😳 my hair is amazing and soft 2 weeks later. I won’t be using anything else from now on. I’m so happy at last 😁
@@crapbag426 Those are the kinda results I wanna see 👀🙌🏽. My best combo so far has been Obia naturals curling Custard paired with Uncle Funky's curly magic. My hair was soft for a whole 10 days (I didn't wanna wait longer to wash my hair) and well defined. It could be that my technique needs improving but I feel I could get better definition.
Btw I love that both our winning combos use products by black owned brands. Luster, Ms. Jessie's, Obia, & Uncle Funky's are all black owned. I dont use black owned products exclusively but they comprise a significant portion of my collection, & I just love that we have so many options to care for our hair and support the ✊🏾community.
