I used to work at a Denny's. I was a midnight hostess and dealt with all the drunk customers. Honestly one of the worst jobs I've ever had. I quit on the spot after having a mini breakdown in the staff area.

Ilznidiotic i kinda dont trust her judgment in desserts sometimes because i know that she prefers savoury food over sweet, but you know she enjoys it when she’s eating savoury type foods

I work at one of the top grossing Denny's on the east side of the U.S. and honestly I thought most of the food didn't look great compared to ours. Especially those tots. Wtf was wrong with those tots.
Denny's generally doesn't use a microwave lol. Don't what what kind of Denny's you've been eating at, but at mine you can see directly into the kitchen and can see the food being cooked.

"Don't be a psychopath and eat the edges only get the middle" Umm we have two completely different understandings of psychopath, someone who only eats the middle of pancakes that they intend to give to other people to finish eating = psychopath. Especially when they tear up the pancake in the process.
I used to LOVE dennys. Went every Sunday morning after church as a kid and every birthday as an adult. I fell in love with the southwest Turkey sandwich. They replaced it on the menu with a plain BLT and I havent felt the same about them since. Last time I went they served us eggs that were WERE VERY OBVIOUSLY out of date by taste and smell so I just dont eat there anymore. It's a shame, they used to be so good.
McKayla Royer sadly I feel Denny’s lost its touch. I remember as a kid/teen/young adult it was so good. Now I take my daughter and my food isn’t as good anymore and I looooove breakfast food. Still on the hunt for a good breakfast spot.
@@lilchristuten7568 I'm genuinely confused. Which part do you not understand? Church is on Sunday mornings. Dennys is open 24/7. We went right when church got out at like 11 am. I only ever ordered the kids meal chocolate chip pancakes.
@@lilchristuten7568 well I'm Christian. I went to a Presbyterian church. There were two services. One that started at 9 and got out around 10:30. And one that started at 11 and went to 12:30.
I've been waiting for this. When I was on vacation in the states I ate quite a few times at Dennys and I just became addicted to not only their food, but also the raspberry fuze tea.. Thanks for posting this Delish!
It’s probably the location. Denny’s in San Francisco where I live has the plates look really good like this but other smaller locations Denny’s food looks like shit
She loved the first burger and the country fried steak. Among other things. Denny’s isn’t amazing but let’s not act like they don’t have some pretty good items.
My mom and I have been binge watching these videos of Julia and omg everything looks super yummy. We both had Denny's Patty Melt last night and it was the perfect way to end the day. The bread was crispy, buttery. It was meaty, cheesy, oniony and it hit the spot. Give me a cocktail or something with it and it'll be even more perfect!

Julia seems like she would be fun to dine out with. She’s the kind of friend that would order the best two appetizers on the menu before everyone had even sat down. Later she would order an entree or two for the table as well. Also nobody’s glass would ever be empty in her presence. She’s the modern Dionysus.
My Denny’s is average. It doesn’t have the best food, but the Cali club with seasoned fries is like the best thing ever. I love it so much. I’ll eat it everyday
I always wondered... you say you don’t waste food and take all the food back to delish, but you definitely used your fork to open up all the food, double dip, spread and moved around which has your saliva on it.... why would everyone from delish want to eat that tho?

It can't if she touches the dish !!!!. She needs to be given a serving spoon take what she wants remove to another plate and eat with her own spoon . She's putting germs back on plate and now it needs thrown out common sense so they throw it all out or give to staffs pets

IF DENNYS IS WATCHING THIS.... in Christmas 2012 I believe.... ( I could be wrong on the year) there was a special sugar cookie pancake for the movie Arthur’s Christmas!! That was the hands down best thing I’ve ever eaten at Denny’s!!! I also think about them WAYY to often!! I wish they came back every Christmas season!

People - seriously. Their breakfast sizzlin' skillets are a must try! The taste is to die for, it's a lot of food, and it's between 380kcal (yes!) and upper 500s kcal. The 380kcal fit sizzlin skillet option is SO healthy and delicious. I've also tried the Santa Fe and Supreme options, both will eggs over medium so that the yolk drizzles all over ... And - it doesn't come with toast, which for me, is the best thing ever!
