Rose ddeokbokki has been trending in Korea these days, so let’s find out why. Ddeokbokki (spicy rice cakes) are a popular meal (Orr sometimes snack) here in South Korea and one of my favourite foods. It’s usually made with chilli pepper paste and you can get so any different topping that the combinations are endless. Recently a new version called rose ddeokbokki has been popping up at take out shops and restaurants all over Seoul. It’s named after “rose pasta” and has cream mixed into the sauce like its pasta counter part. Shall we find out if it’s worth the hype and if so what sets it apart?
