@@ShalomBrother - I think you are missing his point. While it's certainly not illegal to refuse card payments, businesses who want to evade tax will typically only accept cash. It's not the only reason a business might do so, but it's certainly the main reason.
@@LHyoutube I think your missing the point. There’s millions of businesses and sole traders in this country who operate cash only. It’s nothing that is going to raise the tax man’s suspicions. If for example, the takeaways supplier of meat is a cash only business, and they’re sue a delivery tomorrow, and they need £500 in cash to buy the next meat delivery, they’re well within their rights to put a cash only sign out for a day if they wish. It’s upto an individual to declare sales weather it be cars or cash and out tax system works on self declaration. Cash is obviously more open to abuse, hence the push for cashless society at the moment, but that is another tale altogether.
They are changing the English league to the foreign league because the English are disappearing by the day. also they are disappearing from politics streets TV In 2070 or before white British will be the minority, as they already are in cities.
Great to see you in my hometown Dan first time I’ve ever left a comment but I’ve seen every single one of your videos keep up the amazing work and making the community wherever you go smile Been having a lot of hard time lately, but your videos have helped me through a lot just wanted to say thank you with all my heart and I’ve just ordered the exact same order as you have it was lovely 9 💯
9.5 is harsh for that price, he's voted far worse 10's. That place served up some good grub for a bargain. You'd be going there all the time it's cheap.
There's absolutely zero rhyme or reason to his rating system. He gave next to no negative thoughts on what he ate yet something brought it down to a 9.5?
@@irishrebel2009 it looked a touch bland. This is how his system works. If everything is fresh and presented well, no obvious big mistakes, you get a 10. If it's a little meh but still excellent value, you get 9.5. If some of the meat is dry or overcooked, it's a 9. You get less than a 9 if something is absolutely horrible.
Hey Danny. Just catching up after spending some time in hospital. Those kebabs look fantastic. Keep it up. Cheers from the land of beers down under Oz.😊
Great episode! I live in the Detroit, Michigan area and we have a large Middle Eastern population, along with lots of amazing restaurants. The older population, early 1900s like my wife's family, is mostly Lebanese/Syrian, so a lot of the food follows those lines. It is interesting to see the similarities and differences in your takeout. "Kebab" here means skewers with chunks of meat. The donner kebab would be similar to the gryo in local Greek restaurants. The ground meat kebabs here are 'shish kafta.' Naan bread you'd only find in an Indian place; thin pita is more typical. Hummus, fattoush (chopped salad), and pickles are usually on the side. If I ever make it to Britain for a visit I'll definitely have to check out some of the local Middle Eastern joints.
You'll love it it here. Middle Eastern food is the top food in the UK now. Trend is Middle Eastern food and American-Mexican style food. These are popular in the UK now
Brilliant Video Danny and in my Home town mist give it a try i drive past it several times a day and unsure if its worth a try so thanks so much for the Heads up😋😋👍
Danny, that part flavour is from too much filler being used in the kebabs. The filler is literally a bulking agent made of cereals, rice, stuffings, all of which absorb fluid and add to it's weight. Often the quality of those kebabs is compromised as there will tend to be less meat in them. This is one way that fast food joints can maximise profits by investing in cheaper products.
We've got lots of fresh salad on there, lets move that out the way.... to quote him! Lets face it, we buy a kebab for the meat, but its boring without the salad and pickles. Agree with Danny, a great Naan is the foundation of a great kebab. You get the best Naan in and around the Manchester area, the great Asian and Turkish families do it. That's the North for you. How great is it to have people from 30 plus different countries living around you? The things you can learn.
If you ever come back to my home town Hull, please give Ice Bite a try on Holderness Road. They have different smash burgers, chicken burgers, wraps and lots of yummy desserts! Such good quality food for the price 🤌🏼
Cos then he’ll have to get in contact with thousands of retailers and not sure he would have the time to do that he does a lot of traveling and grafting
You need to go to Nacho Cheese in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. Its a bit of a drive from you but they won the Just Eat best takeaway award a few years back. Top top takeaway. ❤
@TheCotswoldQueen 1) I'm Indian. 2) Written comprehension isn't your strong point, is it. 3) Not everything that may run counter to what's rattling around in your empty head is "woke".
I trained at The London Hospital and lived on New Road just off the Whitechapel Road. Whilst we were there a Kebab House on the corner a few yards down the road basically saved us from starvation. The kebabs were out of this world served with salad and pitta bread. Never tasted one as good since then.
If you ever come to North Wales, you need to try Brgr and Shakes in Rhuddlan, it's spot on, they sell burgers, dirty fries, brownies, waffles, shakes etc
My ears pricked up when he said it tasted like the mini cheap pizzas that he had as a kid. I long for the mini round cheap pizzas they use to do in Iceland back in the 90s, which came in stacks of about 9. The twang of them were something else! 😢
Hi Danny. I'm in Miami Florida and my son and I love to watch your channel. Its so great that you give the prices, too! I am curious to know if the price you broadcast includes tax & tip? Will you let me know?
Lol at the phone box, coins and cards. Anyone remember the green pre-pay cards that these machine ate like Danny on holiday? Remember drilling a corner of a 50p with fishing line to blag calls. Or bottle jacking the box off. Anyway, that style of Naan, so good. Tandoor frond style of burn on the base, bubbly bits on the top. If your takeaway or curry house doesn't have good naan, you aren't getting proper tandoor meat. Just sayin.
If you want to do a review of an awesome Caribbean takeaway you need to try One Love in Oldham. I would definitely recommend the steak and the fried chicken of the bone is amazing.
How many takeaways that you’ve visited have pictures of food they’ve actually made? Couple of recommendations in Rishton Lancashire would be Balti House & Rish ‘N’ Chips 😋
@@teddy11179 the xmas songs were meant to be raising money for charity and the auction for his chair ,,,but nobody seems to know what charity got any money and how much was recieved .... this around about the time he got his new van.....not long until he is found out
Bit of a twist at the end with the 9.5? Dan you said they came into your dreams with this one! now I need to know why the .5 deduction. Was it the oaty doner 😂
Dan if you do prefere kababs i would highly recommend the chapli kebabs at ABASEEN juicy tender delicious kebabs with the nan bread o my god would highly recomend this place an absolute treat when mark weins tried the chapli kebab he did say no food would ever beat the taste of this kebab
This is my local full mixed kebab is the one donner, lamb, chicken tikka, lamb Kobeda it’s actually a shop chain there are 3 shops bury star Oldham star and Cheetham star I’ll get the mixed kebab, meat salad bread and sauce all wrapped separately in foil to stay warm straight home to the sofa to feast!! This is one of the best in Manchester in my opinion You missed out on the lamb and tikka Danny it should have been a special mixed
The basic difference b/w a Roti and Naan is the Yeast.Naan is done with a Yeasty dough and is relatively thick as a result, Roti ,on the other hand is much thinner and done with no yeast dough kneaded freshly.Naan makes a better companion to Oily curries like Kormas and Rogan Josh, where u want the bread to soak in the oil,Roti goes better with Kebabs and other dry foods😇
The donner meat is pre-manufactured & ordered in as you can tell from it being smooth, that will be no different to most other kebab shops. But there are some which stand out that make & prepare there own donner meat such as A Star Shawarma in Levenshulme, Manchester. Its also rare for donner meat to be 100% lamb, often its a mix of lamb, chicken & beef. Xotica Fusion in Worsley is also worth checking out.
Dont blame them these days the government are the Criminals Squeezing the arse out of local businesses amid all the rip off overheads so support them i say!!!!!@@gamegurugeezer
I'm more annoyed with the new trend of card only. Next think there will be no staff just machines. Almost there in some shops/ places where you have to order and pay before you even pick up
