I've never played Sea of Thieves, but I wanted to give it a try. Can a beginner get into the game in 2024? big thanks to Cliff for helping us! @CliffTheStoryGuy
That's why you always have to be listening. You may not see people getting ready to board your ship, but you can hear them swimming to your ladder. You can hear them climb up the ladder. You can hear them switching weapons. There are so many sound cues in this game that if you ignore them, you'll be half the pirate for it
I wish I could forget everything about this game and start from scratch again! Years in I’m still sailing with the same crewmates who became good friends and we’re still loving everything about the Sea of Thieves, but man, those first hours are so special! Great video and great vibes!
For your first day it was amazing (for you). You learned fast and did something most people cannot do like sniping from your ship to an enemy ship while your moving. With over 700 hours i still miss sometimes my shots. Great work and please play SoT (Sea of thieves) again. And also props for your editing this video soooo good. :D
That first hours in Sea of Thieves are special - even more so if you can spend them with friends. Your video manages to actually captures this genuine feeling. Love it! Great great video!
What a good high quality video. I was suprised to see it was only your second video. Those sniper shots for a beginner were impressive! Gotta be honest I’m more suprised you were generally left alone in the session. I can’t ever get through a session without people after people coming after me.
thanks for watching! i actually have a main channel that focuses on apex legends. The day on SoT was definitely relatively chill. We did have a situation where an enemy ship was trying to attack us but we were able to outspeed them and run away. Wasn’t too crazy so I omitted it bc the video was getting too long and difficult to edit 😭
Loved the video!! The editing is top tier!! Fantastic pacing and length of the video too! Also really enjoyed the story telling and narration! Absolutely killin it Kandy! Awesome to see these variety videos, cant wait for more! Huge props all around!
Loved the video! Been playing Sea of Thieves since launch. It's always refreshing to watch new players experience the game. Glad to see y'all enjoy SoT with Cliff, he's a lord!
so glad to see you playing this game, ive been playing this game for 5 years and love seeing new players enjoying the game a ton (even if ur bad loool)
Great video, fits the sea of thieves style really well and good to see a video that's not just all pvp montages. Would be nice to see you do some sea of thieves where you aren't being shown the world and tackle it with totally new eyes.
Would love to see more sea of thieves.Watched you a lot a couple months ago and really got into sea of thieves so it’d be awesome to see you posting some content on it
I looked up "Sea of Thieves" and filtered it to videos uploaded in the last 24 hours, found this video, and I was like "Wow this dude has great production quality for someone just starting out!" then i see you running around with Cliff and I'm like okay this makes more sense Your channel has a lot of potential to grow with this editing/pacing/narrating and so on. Keep it up! Great video
My ship names: War Admiral (Sloop), Skies o’ Old (brig), Ocean’s Odyssey (galleon). Odyssey is a word derived from Greek meaning a long, perilous adventure.
I hope you enjoyed this game, I was a day one apex player and played consistently for over 2 years. About a year ago I picked up sea of thieves, and without a doubt became one of my favorite games. It’s had ups and downs, but right now it desperately needs players. Content creators like yourself help attract new people so I would like to say thank you for doing your part in saving one of my favorite games. I hope you stick around, it’s worth getting past that learning curve. You’re doing great, and you’ll be a PvP sweat in no time.
The thing that hits people is fun and refreshing about this game is it makes you think for yourself more than most games do so many games. People require it to hold your hand. It's got into a point where you play games and it feels like you're going through kindergarten again. There's no sense of accomplishment when you figure out how to do the thing that they were highlighting in gold from across the map, there is a sense of accomplishment and figuring out how to do it all on your own without any hints or clues other than what was given
wow i like the mechanics on bigger ships, i only sailed on sloops, i didn't know how these big ships handle this looks cool. As a solo player i was able to get my own ship in a couple weeks, only because i did spend a lot of times in safer seas during the first week, only to get familiar with the game.
And thankfully, you're in for a treat! Recently the game has been a little bit of a content drought but they have announced a lot of changes in the upcoming seasons that will be jampacked with a lot of new stuff for you to enjoy! stay tuned and welcome to the sea of thieves PS: Can't wait for more vids on sea of thieves, who knows maybe you might strive for pirate legend?
9:37 and that's why you anchor. If the ship wasn't anchored all three of them would be chasing the ship for about 300 m while it was filling with water
I’m happy you are playing this and getting the game out there. It benefits me more cause I get to steal loot from even more people later on. Thank you!
I’ve been playing sea of thieves for 6 years, since day one. It always brings a smile to my face to see new people discover the game I love so dearly. Enjoy it
i love seeing new players playing sea og thives because i usually stack abaut amilion gold in loot when i play so its just so difrent to see new players play
