Everybody looks like a snail when compared to an olympic sprinter, but Mike's actually quite fast compared to your average gym bro.

I actually respect him for not pulling a muscle. Even top sprinters pull hamstrings in an all out sprint. It is even more dangerous for a bodybuilder with a huge hamstring that isn´t used to moving this quickly.

@olafolafsson2755
@olafolafsson2755 3 года назад
@Krazy Guy good assumption because a lot of people admire bodybuilding looks. As a teen I liked the looks too. But when u have played any sports u know that it is hugely unathletic, prone to injury and just unhealthy. I am really not jealous. I actually feel bad for people who still as an adult want to Look like some bodybuilder because the toxic body image has grown into them. When I see any bodybuolder doing Athletic stuff I just cant enjoy it. I fear a biceps or quad tear, a heart attack or just see how unfunctional that shit is. If someone performs athleticly or musically I would feel some jealousy... but actually it is more like inspiration because everybody has his own life. I dont get payed to be an athlete, so why bother. If we would get payed to eat perform, sleep and train... we would Look and be like them too. Also the assumption of jealousy is a typical narcissistic behaviour.

Coach greg is around 200lbs most of which is muscle, trains HARD every day accompanied with a 2hr bike ride as cardio which he goes hard on too but eats around 3000 calories a day. not saying the sprinter can't get away with 4 to 6 thousand calories a day, it's just surprising that someone much smaller and with a lot less metabolically active tissue(i.e. muscle) would require so much more than someone who probably trains harder than him 24/7 365

@4:00 "you're event kind of finds you" 100% agree with that. Ran track for 4 years, started as sprinter, was too lanky for it. Went to distance, I was always well in the front the first half of 12 mile road run and sucking wind the last half. Found the sweet spot in the 400m & 800m. 800m really sucks though. My body mechanics were best suited for it, but it was still always a test of mind to finish every race.
