I have always used foam. It defined the hell out of curly hair without weighing it down. I sometimes use it by itself, and other times I combine it with gel.
I know it's been a couple years but I stumbled on this today when I was looking for videos about foam setting lotions. When you started applying the lotion to the back underside of yr hair I found myself sitting down, grinning from ear to ear as you revealed each section of defined, springy, bouncy, beautiful curls. I caught myself clapping and whistling each time yr smile got a little bit wider in surprise and pleasure over your hair. It is such an amazing, gorgeous thing when we can find joy in our own skins, isn't it? We just get innundated with the message that without the latest car or cellphone or brand of shoes then we're somehow lacking. But we're not! When we feed our souls and energies with positive, uplifting people and goals then the beauty on the inside can't help but shine n the outside to the whole world!!
This came out beautiful I love it! But what are you ladies using for those trouble areas? My back is way more thicker than my front and I’m struggling. I’ve started my natural hair journey in November and I’m desperately needing something to help with how dry the back gets no matter how much water or moisturizer I use.
I feel the same way about the cream but I never tried the cream WITH the foam. After seeing your hair I’m feeling inspired to try it again 🤔 bomb results
Ok. I actually watched the video.... Curls is BOMB girl. I’ve used the shampoo and conditioner because someone gave them to me but clearly I need to try out these products also.
I'm going for it, I've got 4 girls and everybody's hair is shoulder length and longer and we have been on the fence about those "ghetto gels" you mentioned 😁😁😁👍👍 Thank you for your review🤗👍👍Your hair looks healthy and amazing🔥🔥🔥
😍😍 This turned out so pretty! Styling foam is always a good go to!

You making me wanna go out and get the foaming lotion and styling creme🤦🏾♀️I hate crunchy hair which is why I don't use styling gels....might have to cop that 4 for $20 😌
I don’t understand way it didn’t dry as defined as it looked wet, I’m puzzled about the frizz. That sucks but it still came out cute. Maybe you should try the doux mousse, it has more hold
Textured ID on my hair was a disaster but maybe it's becuz I have 4c medium density high porosity hair. Your hair came out really cut. I wonder if a disfuser would help with tighters curls. I want to try it but with my 4c hair not sure if it would work. I hate the cast gel leaves and how drying it is
I like to add mousse after the leave-in & gel bc mousse alone is too drying for 4c. Also I do add mousse for a little stretch over day 3 or 4 hair if I have to take photos, but always follow up next day with something more moisturizing
