@@KingOfHalla Doubt it. The issue would be that every other boss in the game is balanced for a point in the game where Sora _at the absolute minimum_ has Blizzard, Fire, and Valor Form,. Any boss fights where Sora is alone come after he gains Limit Form and at least tier 2 in all magic elements. The Axel fight from the end of the prologue is the only boss designed around Number XIII's moveset
I got Shan Yu first time, and somehow I beat it, dude softlocks you if he does that thing that forces you into reaction command stuff. Every other time I got that massive flying Heartless also from Land of Dragons it was literally impossible because Roxas can't get high enough. Not quite as tough as beating this damn Roxas though.
@@devonm042690 I know there was a time when you could fight dudes like Sephiroth in random places but for whatever reason it seems like bosses like him are not randomised anymore.
I usually save STT for close to the end of a seed since it's so much faster and easier once you have, say, Limit Form and/or a couple growth abilities; everything except dodge roll just works (albeit with odd animations), going limit form as Roxas doesn't use up any drive gauge (just be careful not to use skateboards or be in the form for Twilight Thorn's grab attack - those will T-stance Limit Form Sora), and Ragnarok makes 7-second struggle fights real (not an exaggeration!).
"Technically" it uses Drive Guage in STT but as the vanilla game never anticipated you having Drive at that point, it just refills your Guage immediately upon reverting
As a fun thing, you actually can't use Dodge Roll as Roxas, he'll T-pose if you try it. (the randomizer ensures that the ability is off when you enter Simulated Twilight Town) I do recommend using Quick Run and Glide with Roxas though, the results are most fun! 😊
I’ve been watching Vinny do an Ocarina of Time Randomizer and on the plus side it randomizes the music as well! I feel like all Randomizers should randomize the music for a different feel and experience and to spice it up too.
Sarah, you are amazing. You beat Sephiroth with a dance pad and Roxas with Roxas?! All you need left is to eat a controller and you can truly call yourself a gamer.

I really wish one of the amazing KH2 modders would make a modded DW Roxas moveset so we could use magic and block. I've legit been waiting for someone to make that since like 2009 😭😭😭
Something to make note of is that you can use Limit Form as Roxas and you can use Guard into Zantetsuken-Ars Arcanum Strats, just don't do the Ars Finisher so you don't add any revenge value. You can also Strike Raid through the dm. As for a couple things you mentioned in the video, Roxas can't use Magic, not even cure. Using Magic results in a T-Pose, the same thing applies to all Reaction Commands that Roxas can't do normally and on Skateboards that aren't normally in Simulated Twilight Town. He can however use Growth Abilities. So you can use High Jump.and Aerial Dodge to avoid his attacks and when you fall down you can do some combos. The current version of the Mod automatically removes Dodge Roll to prevent you from Softlocking and you will have to use Kingdom Key when going there otherwise you will be given ANOTHER Kingdom Key.

Even if you had guard it wouldn't matter. Dual-wielding Roxas is like a Drive Form in that he has a combat ability set completely different from base Roxas/Sora. The square button is just a different attack, specifically one that doesn't combo into anything, during whatever fight you get in that ring of fire.
I just found your channel yesterday since the Sephiroth dance pad video popped up on my recommended. I gotta say you have so much patience in doing these challenges. Most people would have raged, but you sounded so calm despite the multiple restarts.

You got the photon debugger because you started with a drive form. It seems to be a failsafe system where you're given a keyblade if you don't have enough keyblades when you gain a new form.
I watched another randomizer run that had replaced Shun Yu in Land of Dragons with Sephiroth, which seemed insane, but this makes that look like a freaking cakewalk. Good job!
Hey, I don't know if you know but, you're supposed to go to other worlds with more chests like disney castle, pride land, and agrabah - this randomizer has the abilities in chests (and puts random items and abilities in the lvl up rewards) you can go back to the garden of assemblage anytime to try another world. its not that difficult but critical can very well be a challenge! hope you keep up the challenge, love your vids !
This randomizer has produced some goat content no cap, last month kzxellent was given the kingdom key with no experience as the ability on it, dude ran away from fights for like 30 minutes 💀
the fact that she said you need guard for the roxas fight is funny to me cause i'm pretty sure i never, or barely, used guard when i fought roxas. Though that's just because i never use guard anyway and just dodge all over the place

AH NOOOOOO the randomizer beginner curse! Playing as Roxas (STT) is meant to be completed at least half way through because you can not exit back to select a world. The starting locations are all the ones that either give lots of exp for early leveling or lots of items. :) Hope this helps -100 woods (Location 1, rest need torn pages) -Disney Castle (Items in Court yard and Exp by helping mini) -Pride Lands (Large enemies at the start get you to lv 2) -Starting Mulan Location for Items
After activating the terminal, do the first worlds that have tons of chests you can open early. Some can have finishers, magic or even proofs. Some gamers even track progress of these just for the fun of it.
@@daedrascrolls That's a setting. The default is level 50, but you're able to set the highest level that checks can go to anything you want. I believe if you set it to level 1, you're even guaranteed to start with No Experience, so you can do level 1 if you really want to do that.
The boss randomizer is pretty buggy at this point, and mostly no one uses it right now. The randomizer is more for creating a unique experience and flow to the game. You can go into any world at any time, and (with the exception of Simulated Twilight Town), leave at any time to go somewhere else. I'm not sure how much you looked into the randomizer after doing this part, but the goal of it is to hunt through all the worlds (and levels on Sora and Drive Forms if you turned them on) to find the 3 proofs - the 3 items from LW, Data Org, and Mushroom XIII which give you the crowns). You're not allowed to start the final fights without all 3 (you can go up to Xemnas 1 in TWTNW at any time). There's also the Promise Charm. If you get the Promise Charm, then once you have all 3 proofs, you're allowed to skip all of TWTNW and go directly to the final fights via the computer in the Garden of Assemblage.Of course, even if you get all the proofs immediately, you still need to have enough tools to feel comfortable beating Xemnas. Magic upgrades, summons, drive forms, and even just all of your abilities are scattered across the game for you to find, and plan out how you proceed through the game. Edit: I meant to say: I do admire your determination in beating Roxas there. It's definitely a fight you shouldn't have won
You should never start at STT cuz it's the only world you can't leave, Roxas can use limit form, and having quick run massively speeds it up because the lack of a proper animation for it causes him to wavedash instead.

Funny thing is that Guard would not have made that fight any easier cause Dual Wield Roxas can't even use Guard. Also no Dodge Roll on Roxas cause T-Pose...
