Not sure why I didn't notice it sooner, but I think this is probably about the closest an SM64 randomizer can get to something like an Oot rando.

Really curious where *anything* was for that first seed. Also, I wish there was a resource for "list of all sphere 1 checks" for AP games to help with finding that first unwall/realizing you missed one of them hours ago.

@@istink.5874 you can, but I'm thinking more about multiworld games where sphere 1 has a tendency to have important progression for everyone and it can be really easy to miss a few checks that were available at the start.

Curious, what do you mean by AP games and sphere 1?

@@Adowrath "AP" stands for Archipelago, which is the program that he's using to do the randomization. It has support for a bunch of games! "Sphere 1" is a term that essentially means "everything you can get from the start with no other items". Put simply, when Archipelago does its randomizing, it build out "spheres" where 1 is everything you can reach from the start, sphere 2 is everything you can reach with all the items from 1, 3 is what you can reach with all the items from 2, and so on. Thanks for the question! I sometimes forget that terms I'm used to seeing are actually jargon.
