I tried the psychoactive MAD HONEY in Nepal. 

So far I've watched 3 documentaries on mad honey, and here's what I've noticed: American: I know he told me only to take 2 teaspoons, but I'll take a little bit more to push the envelope. Result: I shouldn't have pushed the envelope. It wasn't horrible, but definitely uncomfortable. I'll take less next time. Canadian: Did he say 2 teaspoons? Surely he meant tablespoons. I'll take 3, wash it down with a few beers, put another tablespoon on my food. (12 teaspoons). Result: Becomes a paralyzed vomit fountain and can't get off the hotel room floor. Austrian: 2 teaspoons. Right. I will follow these directions precisely. Result: This was amazing and I feel great. Moral of the story: Channel your inner Austrian when experimenting with exotic substances.
