most of us all started our running journeys at parkrun, such a great place and really helps with consistency when starting out. dont think i would be running now without it.

I’m a year 6 and my running journey started in school cross country and now I’m 30th in England for my age also I do the BOFRA fell races

Droning parkrun courses is the way forward. We went to Trentham Gardens yesterday, one you did last year. As you can imagine with that course got some impressive views from above.

Garmin have a widget for your parkrun reg number. Handy never have to worry about where I left the code.

haha that's a great feature! Unfortunately I dont have a Garmin! I prefer my coros to by previous Garmin 100% but that is a cool feature!

Solid effort! Probably a little faster than what I was expecting you to go, fitness must be in a really good place! Any thoughts on the warm weather ahead of GNR? (still a little early to confirm temps right now I guess)

On that course I was genuinely chuffed with that on the day haha. Once I’ve tapered, race day atmosphere, fuelled etc… hopefully it’ll click into place!

I've done both coures, you were definitely at a disadvantage doing the two lapper.

You can put your parkrun barcode on your watch. There’s a widget for it. Its quite handy.

That’s just the fastest 500 Parkrunners at that particular parkrun. You can find it in the results section of each parkruns respective website

I did a 22 minute parkrun yesterday and my watch tells me I need to rest for 96 hours! Lol. I think i pushed too hard

Hahaha take your watch with a pinch of salt, if it recommended you rest for 3 hours and you got injured following its suggestions you’d be annoyed with the watch… so they always side with caution! Listen to your body buddy and keep crushing it, great time btw 👏🏻
