3:07 if it was a caught Pokémon, you would get a message saying you can’t berry it. This shows that your berry was successfully used so it wasn’t caught. Also, when in catch mode, the plus stops its automatic catching. It will only spin stops

Unless something has changed it will only spin a stop when in a catch encounter if the stop was noticed before starting the catch encounter, but it will not spin any more stops until the catch encounter ends.

Always good to see you! Bummer you’ve been under the weather with all the travel etc. Osaka and NYC just some of the best places in the world to play these kind of events. That's a huge challenge 😂 ... Let's see if you can make it... Dōtonbori is one of my favorite prefectures 👀 so cool you went there. The ugliest shiny, it's not that bad haha. Hotter than a slugma what... LOL Aahh you should never check your journal, it hurts every time... I'm blaming Tom 😂. I remember the heat in Japan and it's unbearable, my phone couldn't handle it... That was a nice haul in Japan tho... I'm sorry you got sick in New York, I hope you got a great time anyway. I'm off school so I got time, I'm back 😅... I should have more time in the next months. I also spent pretty much all of Go Fest New York sick in my hotel bed. Didn’t ever make it to the park, but did walk around Madison Square park for a little bit Sunday. Ended up with 25 shinies still so not too shabby!

If your go plus got it or tried to get it, you would get an "item can not be used at this time" message at the top when you used the berry.

My play day was Friday morning. I saw a handful of RU-vidrs from afar as I did the park grind. Didn't have time to stand in line for anything, my focus was on getting specific shinies and/or hundos, which I have to say was very underwhelming for park play. City Experience was a totally different story, though! But anyway, I wish I had met you then. I had on my fave Prince t-shirt for luck and I know you're a fan of him, too. Hope to catch you next time and give you dap.
