The funny thing is that the Red Guy from Cow and Chicken and Him from PPG were voiced by the same VA in the Latin American Spanish dub, Ricardo Hill

and IM Weasel!

As much as I like Red Guy, he would probably be outmatched. They are both immortals and Red does have clones of some kind, but Red is more of an everyday trickster whose schemes can be foiled by everyday means (like being beat up, arrested or chased off). Mind you, I haven’t watched a lot of PPG so I’m just going off the wiki here. It seems Him’s power level increases with the amount of negativity in the world, which doesn’t seem to be the case with Red Guy. Red might have a shot at beating Him at his weakest, which would entail Him being sent back to his home world unlike Red. I get the impression that Him is the better manipulator however, which would make it a tough call. Red’s saving grace would be his resilience and cartoon physics. Despite the odds stacked against Red, it’s ultimately funnier is he wins, which would put any cartoon writer on his side.

Nah. According to the theme song, "Mom" gave birth to them and "Dad" didn't care that it shouldn't have been possible.

Ren & Stimpy didn’t ”rip off” Mighty Mouse: The New Adventures. John K. was a lead director on that show and a ton of people who would eventually form Spumco were on the crew as well. Ralph Bakshi played a producing role. Long story short, Bakshi wanted to provide younger animators with work and mentorship, hence why he gave them the reigns to make the show their own. John K. deserves his fair share of scrutiny, but it is unusual to accuse any creator of ripping off themselves, although exceptions do exist.

@@doodelli unusual to accuse a person of ripping themselves off but that doesn't mean that's not what it is. Call an inspiration if you want to I just use the term rip-off because the shows are very similar. They were done by a different production company so if one production company takes ideas from another one regardless of whether employees worked for both it's still ripping off. It's not always a bad thing to rip off somebody else's work I mean musical artists do it all the time painters often use other people's works as inspiration it's still ripping off but it's not necessarily criminally ripping off
