I've been working on a remake of the whole track but it takes so much time! there are just too many details so for now I won't work on it until I have more time! great to see I'm not the only one giving this track a challenge!
@TuneMonk It is a good approach to recreate songs, you can learn a lot from it. Especially the insight that everything is not as simple as it sounds. It can take a very long time to recreate certain sounds. My recommendation is not to be too precise there and to concentrate on a certain element. For example, on the arrangement, but then you just have to take similar or different sounds. Until you can achieve a professional kick and bass sound you need a lot of time, sweat and desperation. Be imperfect and discover where your own weak points are. How simple sometimes the music sounds, there are a lot of hurdles to overcome, the skills just have to be learned. But better you can do the essential things imperfect, than to have gaps that stop you, make you stuck. I can speak well from experience :). Very nice and keep it up! Thank you for sharing your experience!
11:01 - To put it on the scale of the bassline you could have exported the vocal samples to wav and then open it on the sampler a put it on the root note of the sampler
