@@johntowner1893 dude you are exactly the kind of idiot that they want going to these mid cuisine restaurants. They’re not flirting with him because they actually like him. They’re flirting with him because they want a big tip. God men are so easy.
Honestly does. As a kid my dad would bring me to the laundromat and it wouldn't be long of us watching the boring news on their tiny crappy tvs before we'd just go next door to subway or food 4 less even if all we got was something as simple as a cookie🤣
@@karunasenakarunasena843 he has another channel with 2 mill subs i think. This is a secondary channel, well ig first since that one is no longer posting
FUN FACT: The guy who founded Heart Attack Grill said that he made this restaurant as a way to encourage people to eat better, not by encouraging people to make better eating choices, but by reverse psychology. In other words, to paraphrase this quote: "You step on that scale and if you weigh 350lbs, people will celebrate. And while you feel good in the moment, when you get home and think about it, you'll realize people only celebrated you because you're a freak." And to his credit, a lot people actually did start eating better because of this. EDIT: Basically, the founder was a someone who dedicated their life to helping others live healthier lives. But as time went on, he became disillusioned with the fitness industry because he felt like he was selling used impossible standards. So when In N Out sued him for copyright infringement (since his gyms were also called In N Out) he got the idea; "instead of being slimy, crooked peddler of fitness services, I would actually run a hamburger concept that would be absolutely honest". You can watch SunnyV2's video on it. It is interesting.
@@leaholson33 And because of it I always (wrongly) remember it being a Planet Pizza in Toy Story. And every time anyone has ever called me out on being wrong, it makes me feel like my entire life is a lie. I miss the local space aliens. It was much more aesthetic. Planet Pizza just has bare-minimum decor and the different pizza sizes correspond to different planet sizes.
Same but with the aliens and spaceship stuff. I'm autistically into 3D building. So on my ADHD pill I get super hyped. This themed restaurant might be the only reason to go to North Dakota lol 😂 I wanna make this place in ue (unreal engine). Reminds me of Buzz Lightyear and Toy Story
There's one where I used to live in Largo Florida sort of like that. There is one person that owns a laundromat, 24 hour restaurant, and a bar in the same shopping center.
It's not new; the concept has been around for literally decades. There was a combo laundromat bar & grill in Tallahassee when I was a student at FSU back in the 1980s, and when I lived in Seattle in the late '90s through 2001, there was an iconic laundromat/cafe/bar/music venue called Sit & Spin 5 blocks from my apartment. A lot of bands performed there, including The White Stripes, Mudhoney, The Posies, Modest Mouse, and Macklemore (he mentioned Sit & Spin in his song "The Town.")
Me and my wife were discussing how it would be an amazing thing for a small village like the one next to us. It would probably be the busiest place around.
As a vegas local i can say most of us dont enter the heart attack grill for fear of being spanked because the people outside the restaurant can actually see you at times its like a public execution
Bro space aliens is literally my childhood! I’m so happy to hear that you like it! It’s literally the only thing that North Dakota’s got going for it lol
@@rrsagaI can’t compare to Kismmee… idk what it is, but medieval times is food that won’t put you to sleep, decent service.. a pretty awesome show that makes you feel included is and something a family should experience once.. you decide?!?
@@santiagomunoz7300 Medival times is a tourist trap chain and there is a location on 192 south of Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. They're asking how the Dallas location compares to the greater Orlando location. Hope this clears things up!
@@rrsagaabout four years ago i went to the one in Kissimmee for a feild trip and i must say it was really good they also had an area you can tour that showed a bunch of artifacts and devices from that time 10/10
Seeing Space Aliens is loved by not just us in ND but almost everyone who visits is so cool. We have them in Bismarck, Fargo, and Minot. Maybe one more town but I can't remember.
Washbangers reminded me of a laundromat we have in my home town, its a grimy laundromat with a bar inside, and local bands will do hardcore/punk shows there! Never would have thought I'd mosh in a laundromat
I'm usually not big on alien themes unless it's Neo Pets , Nova Stars , or some thing I made , but after watching this video , I really wish to go that Alien themed restaurant some day. Oh , & HR Giger related things ...the "bio mech" thing is so interesting
Medieval Times traumatized me as a child. It was super not my thing, way too loud, overstimulating, and I was stressed the entire time for the performers. Glad to see you had fun though
Jesus loves you ❤️ Please repent and turn to Him and receive Salvation before it is too late. The end times written about in the Bible are already happening in the world. Jesus is the son of God and He died for our sins on the cross and God raised Him from the dead on the third day. Jesus is waiting for you with open arms but time is running out. Please repent and turn to Him before it is too late. Accept Jesus into your heart and invite Him to be Lord and Saviour of your life and confess and believe that Jesus is Lord, that He died for your sins on the cross and that God raised Him from the dead. Confess that you are a sinner in need of God's Grace and ask God to forgive you for all your sins through Jesus. Jesus loves you. Nothing can compare to how He loves you. When He hung on that cross, He thought of you. As they tore open His back, He thought of your prayer time with Him. As the thorns dug into His head, He thought of you spending time reading the Bible. As the spears went into His side, He imagined embracing you in heaven. Please repent and turn to Jesus now before it's too late. His heart longs to be with you but time is running out.
I can't help but find it funny how over half of the food presented in the show: the Tomato soup, roasted Potatoe, and Corn on the cob were definitely NOT seen in the Medieval times of Europe. XD
When I was a tiny child, I went to Medieval Times with my parents. I had no idea what was going on, all I knew was that the knight for my side gave me a rose. I think I was stressed out for the other knights too, but my side won so I wasn't as concerned I think lmao (note: I was maybe 4 or 5)
the laundromat themed restaurant that includes an actual laundromat is so funny to me because the normal laundromat i go to is attached to a small pizza restaurant owned by the same people so its not that weird of a concept to me lol.
I stopped at Space Aliens on my way up to Canada once. I was looking for food and saw the building and just knew it was where i had to stop. The food was surprisingly good! The place feels like someone just had a silly idea and made it happen, not some corporate nonsense
I was the complete opposite when it came to Medieval Times, I also went there when I was younger but I absolutely loved it. I loved getting assigned to watch these teams fight to the battle and getting your own crown and all. It’s probably why I love themed restaurants and fantasy things lmao
The souvenirs are adorable and Cari coming along for the medieval restaurant was nice of her. I love seeing the american restraunts for some reason, despite being British.
as someone who lives right next to the space aliens he visited, its...not as great as he said, lol. but maybe thats just because ive been going there since i was 3. the arcade low-key sucks but the food is amazing.
As someone who is from nowhere near North Dakota and only has the experience of Scott Cramer's video to go off of, you better NOT disrespect Space Aliens because it's a wonderful restaurant with great ribs😂
You can definitely tell there was love put into space aliens when there’s all that alien memorabilia on display!!!! Someone collected that stuff to put there out of genuine love for the idea of aliens for sure. Place was made not to capitalize off of people who love aliens, but as a love letter to aliens. I saw all the stuff on display and knew the food was gonna be good
As a North Dakota resident who lives about an hour away from Fargo, I have to say its a pretty consistent staple when I visit Fargo, me and my Fiance love going there, favorite menu item is the giant baked potato with bbq pulled pork on top. Love that you liked it!
6:20 the clapping made it worse. THE CLAPPING MADE IT SO WORSE. T.T The audience clapping as you clutch your cheeks in pain and horror and not to forget regret.
No surprised about Heart Attack Grill failed. It supposed to target those 300 pounds and above. The taste and quality doesn’t have to be there as long as their audience keeps showing up for their “free” meals and shock factor
@@frankdexter1110Yup, a lot of big people care more about filling their oversized tummies than actually tasting the food. Artificial flavour like mcdonald's is often enough for them.
I remember going to a medieval times when I was 5. Being that age, I didn't really understand too much of what was going on but I had fun. The best part of my day was when one of the knights was in the gift shop and he gave me a foam axe. It still makes me super happy to think about.
This channel is my absolute new favorite thing I watch it every time I eat food or work on projects it makes me so happy I’m so glad I found it I just have a fascination with these different restaurants thank you so much for such great content
Chicken tenders used to be called Chicken fingers, but over time restaurants realized tenders sound better so I can't find anywhere that still calls them Chicken fingers
This restaurant I sells chicken fingers, but he told me the reason he calls them chicken fingers and not chicken tenders is because chicken fingers are made with chicken breast cut up into slices then fried but chicken tenders are made from the tenders of chicken
Used to go to space alien so many times when traveling to Minneapolis with my family when I was a kid. I loved it so much! Maybe I need to make a road trip back down to try it again😅
As someone who’s been to the Dallas medieval times about 5 times, I got to tell you something that was pretty funny. I went about 4 months ago and during the falcon show, the guy with the falcon made the falcon fly over the audience and one of the waters ran in to it while he was refilling someone’s drink, which caused the falcon to go down, but the waiter kept walking and acted like nothing happened. (Don’t worry guys the falcon was okay)
Everytime I see someone holding a tiny microphone it always makes me laugh lol also, you should have collabed with Scott Cramer when you went to the alien place! He lives in that town
I'm in my mid 40s and went to Midevil Times a few times as a child. One of the most memorable and best times I ever had. Thank you mom, I love you. I'm looking forward to taking my daughter there one day soon. Great vid, thanks bud.
The correct way to eat the burger is eat the insides like the Patty and the onions and stuff first. Cuz breading is the most filling. So you don't want to feel full quicker. Real food eating competitors will eat like shredded lettuce and stuff that are zero calories that will just stretch out their stomach. Because the last thing you want to do if you're trying to win a competition for eating is to starve yourself because then your stomach is not used to all the food and you're going to get for quicker.
I've been to exactly one Medieval Times, one time, so imagine how excited I was to see that was the one in this video. (Also: call me crazy, but the tomato soup there is fantastic. The rest of the meal was... fine. But I never imagined that tomato soup would be far and away the highlight of any meal for me.)
Probably the only person from Fargo watching, but thank you for not slandering space aliens, I've gone there countless times and always spend way to much money. Best restaurant in ND!!
Bro, Space Aliens was my favorite restaurant when I was a kid! I have a lot of nostalgic memories tied to the place. So whenever I pass through Fargo I make sure to stop in. I don't remember the food being ground breaking, but hey cool it's cool to see that you enjoyed the place. I am personally just happy to see that the place is still open after all of theses years.
Dylan: Oh no guys, I don't want a spanking. I better eat this whole thing Also Dylan: Uh oh, looks like i didn't finish it all. *The burger barley eaten*
I was only ever able to read about medieval-themed restaurants as a kid, and they always fascinated me. Seems like I really need to go visit one sometime!
Medieval times is so elite! I mostly go for the show, not the food. Also- I can’t believe they called it falcon after that thing flew around the room- they normally call it dragon leg haha
I have grown up going to that Medieval Times my whole life and have always loved getting super immersed into the atmosphere. Even with me being an adult today I will scream my lungs out for my knight! I'm so happy you gave it another chance!!!!
I was resisting this video for about a week bc it looked to me like Dylan was about 18.... we're the same age.... I'm flabbergasted and very glad that my home page wouldn't stop pushing this to me. Loved the whole thing ❣️
I love themed restaurants. It adds some fun and excitement to your meal. These places seem pretty cool. How do afford to travel all over the country and do these types of videos? Just cutious
The last restaurant is so similar to the Dixie stampede in Gatlinburg, TN. But that is more horse/rodeo theme instead of medieval. I went when I was a kid & had lots of fun!
Wow, been in North Dakota all my life, and it’s weird seeing a place close to my hometown in a RU-vid video like this. Haven’t been to Space Aliens in well over a decade but this video made me wanna go back. Thanks for bringing up some memories!
In Belgium we also have a restaurant plus laundry mat they are mostly located in cities where they are a lot of students it is a really good concept and they are always jam packed
Omg! I LOVE Space Aliens! I’ve been eating there ever since I was a Toddler, every year we visit our Grandparents & the Highlight of the trip is going to the wacky Alien Space Themed restaurant with my Family!
i used to go to space aliens all the time when i was a little kid living in north dakota nearly 20 years ago! thank you for bringing me a bunch of nostalgia! amazed they're still open and operating!
When Scott Cramer sees this he is gonna be asking why you didn't call him lol fr tho I am proud of you for taking those hits, they really looked like they hurt
