That's some great useful insight. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience. You have inspired me to start this channel and create shorts on finance and investing 🚀
@@bobthewatterbottle that’s because people they showed it to stopped responding positively to the short. This is how any algorithm works. They show your video to people close to your niche, if they respond well, they will show the video to similar people, and over and over and over again until people stop showing interest in the video. Then the video has served its purpose and doesn’t need to be shown anymore
Great tips, but not his. I'm not trying to promote anyone here, but this guy just stole word by word someone else's video. If you want to know more from the original creator, check out n8wealth.
This is literally best video I have seen up to date about making money online. The best thing is you didn't even make it a course or make it a 4 part series or some bullshit like that you made it as informational as possible.
Wow, Amazing! Thank you so much for being real, you literally showed everything that not many RU-vidrs show *Exacts stats and income* I will definitely be looking forward to your next video. Thank you, brother! Stay blessed!
I got really inspired by your RU-vid channel and I decided to start a RU-vid channel of my own , I make memes and funny video's I'm growing steadily thanks for the inspiration I hope you continue to grow the way you do ❤️❤ I hit 150k views and my most popular video is 11k views + growing but I'm not gaining subscribers any tips
Awesome video dude. I've watched countless youtube short challenges and this is by far the best and most precise video i've seen out of at least 30. Keep doing what you're doing, I can just tell you'll be a big youtuber in the future. Thanks for the tips!
Excellent content, my friend. I'm sitting here making original content, and realizing how much longer it will take to gain followers. I can make a short featuring myself that might get 1.3k views, and gain 6 followers. It almost feels fraudulent to get paid off other people's content, but that's what RU-vid shorts seem to be, at the moment. That being said- definitely get the money/views/followers while you can! Looking forward to the BackBoard project. Good luck! 🔥
I love you man..nice contents.. checked your Nutmeg channel , you started it just few months ago, just 3 months ago.. it's crazy how much subscribers you've got now. I'll keep up with your contents
WOW! I have to say the biggest thing I took from this (I'm half way through right now) but when you said limit yourself to 1 hour per edit made me feel so sane! I was wondering if others would spend the time it took just to make the crappy videos I do? I can see I'm getting better but I'm doing 2 to 3 hours per video and they may be 30-40 seconds long. Thank you!
Dang! So informative and genuine! I just subscribed. I started a Shorts only channel 2 months ago, and starting to see a bit of traction now. Was a bit deflated to see that your "poor performing" example of 3,000 views is about my top... 5K is highest and average is around 1.2K... Staying consistent and posting 1 short/ day, but going to up the schedule to 2/day. Thank You!!
@@_yashika Still trying to figure that out. I've been making vlog shorts for a year just for myself, mostly observations about fitness, motivation, relationships and nutrition between my sets in the gym or running on the trail. I just crossed 100k views in 3 months so the channel is getting attention. Seems like I should have enough data points to start narrowing down the topic... Looking for others who have similar shorts channels to compare notes. Are you doing anything like that?
@@biblebeforebiceps Ah I see your channel is mostly about fitness and nutrition. I'm sure you'll be able to figure your niche out sooner or later. Still if you wouldn't want to narrow it down to a specific topic then I'd suggest you could go down the influencer path. Now I'm not talking about the classic fitness influencers thing this is just so you could have a main topic that you mostly make content on while making some on other topics. Surely people would not mind that if you present it in such way. Like most influencers are in a specific niche and they still give their opinions and make content on other topics every now and then. As for me, I am just starting out I mostly make content on Instagram as of now and slowly transitioning to RU-vid my content is not about fitness or anything related to that at all.
I’m getting these exact same numbers 1.2-1.4 is normal. Below 1,000 isn’t great and a few over 2,000z my niche is comedy and movie/song moments using daughters dolls. @akfit5934 do you see that your RU-vid shirt has about an hour run where RU-vid is suggesting it? Then it fizzes. Or sometimes RU-vid will suggest it again the next day and you’ll see a pop in views? I’m trying to learn and understand the process.
It may take 1 week or it may take 3 months it depends on your skill level and how fast you can find out what works within your niche. On a video I'll be releasing end of next week will cover how to edit your shorts so keep an eye out for that!
I have a couple questions. So I see where RU-vid talks about remixing other creators' shorts and adding their clips to your shorts, but it doesn't necessarily say if you'll still be eligible to monetize those shorts or not. Do you know if you can still make money by remixing other peoples shorts? Also, I see hundreds of different accounts posting shorts from the same podcasts over and over each and every day and when looking at their accounts, it's all stuff from say for example: Joe Rogan, or Theo Von, or other big name podcasters, and these pages posting these clips have millions of views and subscribers, are they getting paid for this reused content? Or are they eligible to get paid for this? I'm just starting out and I'm trying to learn the ropes, I am making self help/motivational advice shorts and inspiration type videos and I know it's a repetitive niche on here, but I have notebooks full of "wisdom" about discipline, self-control, perseverance and similar traits that I have come up with the past few years. Any time I think of a new way to explain one of these traits or new ways to describe it to help others understand it and develop these traits I write it down in my notebooks and now I'm transferring them into shorts and maybe long form videos as well, but I just feel unoriginal and I'm wondering if when I meet the 1,000 subs and 10m views will I be able to monetize them and make money from them? Sorry for the long message, I'm just trying to learn all of this stuff and stop worrying about it because I want to make money doing it, but I don't want to be unaware of everything I should know about it. Thanks for your time! Take Care & God Bless!
@Gursh Singh Are you implying that we could get monetized just for posting clips from big podcasts as long as the original creator is not sending a copyright strike?
Great video! I’m still considering if it would be worth for me to create shorts. I have a Dutch channel which means my audience is way smaller. Also my niche if finance which makes the audience even smaller. So still not sure if it would be worth.
Easily the most underrated video on RU-vid shorts I've seen so far. It's time to show people just how powerful shorts can truly be!🔥👇 I've been posting shorts for +90 days too and I went through a path quite similar to yours. The difference is that I choose the dating niche while relaying on shock value and it works just fine. I look forward to your success. This is the dawn of a new era.🔥
Interesting content you post! Like the watch similiar stuff, like Arako for example. Arakos content is hilarious. Question to you if you don't mind telling, whats ur rpm on long Form vids like? Curious how rpm looks like for dating / manosphere related stuff
@@kk-gu1zv Around $2.39 per 1000 views. Not really impressive when you compare it to other niches such as fitness and finance. However, due to the ongoing dating "war" I believe the dating scene to be an evergreen niche with great cashflow potential😁
@@motivationtube5399 Shorts are not affected by copyrighted music which is quite nice. I also edit my shorts substantially so that there's a noticeable difference between the short and the original video. I always thoroughly credit the original creator in my pinned comments and lastly I make shorts about content creators that are the least likely to copyright strike me. That's how I avoid copyright issues.
@@virgiel9 So we can post shorts from other creators and RU-vid is monetizing it? Or do we have to take it from creative Commons or something? Also, how did you dodge the copyright in your long form content?
This is so good i have a football channel like you created 16 days ago but i have very little views my total is 4000 n my peak 2.9k the consistent view is around 20 views
hi Jack, i'm from indonesia, in minute 7:41 does it work as data for yourself when you record the entire video editing process when you get a copyright claim? thanks
Nice video. I uploaded short 1 daily but sometimes I don't have video but still really trying to. Growing slow but I will not give up. Just started last month. 😊
Still Pennies and it's May. Remember the hype around this in December/Jan. The only ones making serious money are channels raking in 10s of Millions of views PER day. It's a waste to even spend time working on them as a small creator. Rather focus on long form. Right now, 500 long form views pays more than 50000 Shorts views for me. So there's only one option here if revenue is in mind.
@R J shorts Africa rpm is Low. But 100000 views gave me 2 dollars this week with shorts. 1k long form views gave me about 1.5$ but that's on higher end and specific to each video. Usually it's 70c per 1000. The other week my Shorts rpm was 1cent lmao. It's a waste of time and a pity cause if it actually paid I'd be going all in. 10c would have been the winning start.
You dont even have a single short video in your channel, your channel keeps growing over lies, good job mate , since we got plenty of people who are respecting scams, you guys will always get what you want
It really helped me a lot now I have some good content ideas and I can finally start to make some interesting content that will hold the people also u deserve a sub keep it going no youtubers are such as informal as you wish you the best
With shorts you can post reused content as-long as you "make funny or thoughtful revision" of the content. So with a soccer moment I would add some type of edit to make sure it can be monetized. With long form you can't really get around using reused content.
Hey, My channel has 22K Subs.. i had some videos with millions of clicks but i deleted them all because i got a monetization problem. Hope u can help.. So i tried to apply a few times for the program but it said "reused content" so i deleted all reused videos and tried to apply again but i dont have that option anymore.. it says: "You cannot earn any income from your channel"
Just a question how did you get the mbappe funny moments video monetized because you used a song that is copyright claimed. Sorry if its a stupid question but I'm kinda new to this
You are right, content taking content that works on other platforms typically doesn't work. There's quite a lot to unpack on how to exactly get content to edit. I cover this in detail in my upcoming video so keep an eye out for that!
