Makes sense, that's just how it works lol. You're spotting and adjusting fire with direct visual feedback instead of using a human spotter.

@@warthunderclipper it has a max range of 1,4km as Ive learned from one of these videos, but yeah, might come in handy one day.

Probably when he launched the drone he immediately went into it's camera and checked the range

He probably may have a note with all helipad location and range after testing them out in custom battle.

@@kiq4767 you'll also need to do ballpark trigonometry since your actually measuring the laser range between the drone and the target, the vehicle is on the ground so the line-distance is different. The drone is literally staring down a hypotenuse of the view angle. If you're on the ground and shooting up or down hill you need to compensate for the distance difference.

You would need 2 accounts, and a virtual machine on a separate screen, one with a drone to act as spotter
