I like to imagine a small group of knights, by small i mean tiny men, that are fighting a secret war in your attic and basment, and you have a secret silent relationship with ze tiny men. In exchange for killing the rival faction of rat riding northern and southern tribes, you make them tiny weapons. The Tiny mid level men get to defend them selves and you dont have a rat problem anymore.

If you want to cut soft metals like Aluminium for example, you can use a grinding disc made for stone or concrete cutting, because they don’t get clogged so easily :)

Sometimes things don't go the way you want them to. And breaking your tang off of your little knife, did give you fits there for a while. Needless to say, you found a master that could fix it and it turned out beautiful. Something to be very proud of. Well done!

About a year ago, I became kinda depressed due to a lot of school and stress from that and my parents wanting me to be a perfect student, but I started watching your videos just recently again, and they have made me the happiest I've been in a while, and you inspired me to start again on RU-vid and keep making my own videos. When I started again, I noticed just how much I love doing it and making tutorials and just doing the things I love and you gave me enough encouragement to keep going and trying to better and make friends rather than being lonely, like I've been for a long time. Thank you so much for making me and millions of people happy.

I'm glad you're back- but I'm even more happy that you took time to take care of yourself. I've suffered from depression for long swaths of time too, I know what that feels like both mentally and physically. Glad you made it to the other side

I was laying in bed watching this, almost fell asleep watching the vid at 3:00 PM until you said you were depressed. My heart immediately spiked and it made me realize that I am right now! I’ve been in bed all day and didn’t really consider why. Now I’m up and about to go for a painful run, but it will be worth it!

Glad you're back, Bobby. Depression is a beast and I completely understand how hard it is to be creative in any form when it has its claws in you. We’ll, you’ve just demonstrated that you know all you need to know to make a knife of any size. It would be interesting to see you make a full-sized knife. Very cool video and thanks for being transparent about depression. I suffer from depression as well and have been taking medication to treat it for 18 years. No shame in the struggle, but we can win. I didn't want to nitpick but there's no mechanical connection between the tang and the handle. It's being held down by only glue. It would have been great if he made the the tang a little thicker and inserted a pin. or hammered the tang's end on to the pommel. Looks great tho.

I can’t tell you how much “Deep Thoughts with Dukey” means to me. I’ve been looking for channels from artists who not only make their art, but also take the time to be authentic in their videos. That little bit of vulnerability followed up with motivation is invaluable and it didn’t dawn on me until watching this video that your videos were what made me first enjoy this kind of content. Not sure if this is making the sense I want it to make, but I just wanted to say thank you.
