Also cost of those epoxy tables is absolutely bonkers. I could make one for my self essentially for free, but walnut, hell downgrading to more common birch would be pretty expensive let alone all the cost of epoxy.. its one of those maker gets sponsored so gets epoxy much cheaper and with their viewers has way to get things sold fast, specially for fanboys.

for circular tables it is probably the best to always base the leg count around the maximum amount of seats on the table. So if the table seats 8 people you should either go with 8 or 4 legs. That way no one has a table leg weirdly positioned in their leg space.
@AramisWyler
@AramisWyler 9 месяцев назад
Meh, you could have 8 legs with 8 people if each had one between their knees, but there are 7 divisions between 8 people. 7 legs for 8 people to each have their own space is best if you're not a victim of imparnumerophobia.

I agree that the base of this is the focal point and star of the show... it's amazing. Your attention to the grain is what makes it perfect. You asked: yes, I love your graphics. Question: was that the client's actual reaction, or did you all set us up for that?

Thank you...and yes, that was a set up. The client's were good sports and did some acting. They actually really liked the table :)

That table is beautiful. I would agree it's one of the best pieces you've made. The graphics do really help to visualize the concepts you are talking about. The amount of detail that goes into your editing is something that separates you from most other creators. The video itself is as much of a piece of art as the things you are building.

I do think this is one of your best designs. It just looks very organic and flowing. I hate epoxy and fact that there is only connection line makes it so much better.

Absolutely Love your style, in furniture design, video editing, and voice over work(& design graphics), don’t change a thing. I feel that your evaluation(valuing) of your work is spot on and would happily pay if in my budget. But I’m just a laborer with a penchant for woodworking myself, so I look towards your work for inspiration. All my best to you.

A very beautiful design and process. The finished table is breath-taking. Also, the graphics do help, and I now know that I have a new phobia that I once thought was a unique aversion to just myself.

Dude - I've been excited to see this base come together for over a month, and it didn't disappoint! Well done (the top is nice too obvi)! Also, trying to imagine Dolores's face when she sees you calling her a "tool" lol I suppose following up with calling yourself a tool might soften the blow a bit haha

Well, I personally love the six legged design, the eight would suit a much larger table. But the finished table is exquisite. Little sad not to see an extending version, but your explanation of the issues was very detailed. Overall great video. Thank you.

I'm thinking you could theoretically make a table that looks good both round and extended with some clever use of bookmatching that would require a slab thick enough for four slices though

Wow, I have to say, your woodworking skills are absolutely incredible! The table you've created is nothing short of breathtaking. The attention to detail, the precision of your cuts, and the overall craftsmanship truly showcase your artistry as a woodworker. But it's not just your woodworking skills that impress me; your narration of the video accompanying the woodworking is captivating. Your ability to explain each step, the techniques used, and the thought process behind your decisions demonstrates a deep understanding of your craft. You have a true talent for storytelling, and it adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience of watching your work come to life. Moreover, your video exhibits a wonderful sense of humor and creativity. The way you inject lighthearted moments and clever jokes into the woodworking process shows that you have a unique personality and an ability to connect with your audience on a personal level. It's evident that you not only have a passion for woodworking but also a knack for entertaining and engaging others through your videos. Overall, your talent as a woodworker, your artistry, your narration skills, and your ability to infuse humor and creativity into your videos make you a true standout in the woodworking community. Keep up the fantastic work, and I can't wait to see what incredible creations you'll come up with next!
