I don't usually review Projectors this won't be a regular occurrence. Still... I really enjoyed checking it out, hope you all enjoyed this random review :)
I have a Viewsonic px700 and the bulb has over 8 thousand hours on it But let me tell you it's still as bright as Ever Amazing Color and deep black Only thing is I think a temperature sensors is Bad and it's stuck in (Safe Mode) Now
I have this projector... my main issue is there is like an outer glow effect like a light border even with V keystone off. It's quite annoying & i'm unsure if it's fixable :(
did you manage to fix the light border? i also have the same effect and just ordered a fixed screen with velvet border in the hopes to correct this. Apparently this is common with smaller chip LED projectors. Nonetheless, an amazing package
@@tumalik I have not, i just live with it. I'm sure if i invested in a screen. With black borders it would be better. Just i don't have the money to spend $700 just on a screen.
@@bevs-world Image wise i'd say it's up there with oled screens it's that good. Very sharp & clean. Still needs to be pitch black for it to get that good of image. I only have it on a wall aswell no screen but a screen would certainly help! 2 Issues i've noticed after owning it for 3 years. 1. Needs a high bandwidth HDMI cable or you'll get HDR videos / content that will have color lines. 2. For some reason the protector loves to go out of focus after x about of time. I'm not sure why this is but pretty annoying. things I like about it. 1.Very short throw projector. I can get around 160inches from 7ft. With no loss in quality. 2. Nice sound from the protector itself no need for seprate speakers! 3. light weight & easy to ajust the picture size. 4. Colors are rich & HDR is great! Nice shadows & car lights just look amazing. Great for space movies. 5. Superb for the price. I don't think you'll get anything else with this level of quality even now. For the price of one of these. 8/10 would recommend it. If you can put up with the annoying out of focus on the corners after so long But that could be because I am using it on a plain wall.
Hi, What is the best projector between Epson 4010 vs viewsonic x10-4k? The Viewsonic looks like it is better, but I can't figure out why? The Epson does not have bluetooth, wifi, speakers, usb-c, is much bigger and heavier. Whit these different and about the same price, how come the epson have all these and looks even better? Hi do you think the projector is bright enough? I'm between the x10 and the px27 a 4k lamp based viewsonic projector. The video looks really good i have to say.
Great review but you didn't mention 3D. (I love 3D and the X10 can display it - even frame sequential.) Also... IT'S AITCH, NOT HAITCH!!! Aaaaaaargh!!!! :-)
had to return mine as the picture went strange like in your review.it only started every now and again and had to restart the movie then after a week or so it kept getting worse.sent it back but they tried other x10s and found the same fault in all of them so give me a refund.i was gutted but viewsonic really needs to sort this problem out.i bought a benq s2700 instead and so far no problem
I recently got this Projector after seeing your review. Thanks for that. I have one doubt. When i play movies from External hard drive, the subtitles are not loading. The movie is playing without subtitles. The Subtitles are working fine when the hard drive is connected to the TV or Computer. I checked the name also, For Example - Movie.mkv and the subtitle will be Movie.srt. The Name is same. Please help.
with led projectors brightness is never enough to have real cinematic experience. you must have laser or lamp based dlp projectors. viewsonic x10 real brightness ls about 1000 lumens. led lumens is b.s. i own lg pf1500g and viewsonic px727 at the same time. in terms of brightness viewsonic px727 DESTROYS lg pf1500g or viewsonic x10 for that matter. you should also check product reviews on amazon. then you will see complaints about low brightness
hi, I have viewsonic 727 too, but i have problem with rainbow efekt :O I hope that its becose dlp. I am thinking about buy x10. and you tell this :) omg.. where is the thrue :)
well i own the viewsonic x10 and its brightness is more than enough. Led light is perceived brighter than uhp light. For comparison: the viewsonic px747 with 3000 ansi lumen is just about as bright as the viewsonic x10.
Because of weak graphic cards the 4K resolution for gaming is not much usable. Why they do not support resolution 2560x1440 and why only 60Hz? As long as projectors are designed by pensioners, massive sales cannot be expected.
1. green and red colors are too dominant over other colors. 2. overall picture is not vibrant if screen is over 100 inches 3. 2400 led lumen is b.s. real lumen is below 1000 4. dont be fooled by 30.000 lamp life. other components probably fail way before 30.000 hour of usage. i would definitely go with viewsonic px727/747 instead of this. + 2 spare lamp. thats it enjoy real colors (not oversaturated picture)
