It's more difficult on gmgow and yet more fair at the same time compared to any from game. I'm not trying to start a fight here, bloodborne is in my to 5 of all time. I much prefer the style and difficulty in ragnarok. So many more options on how to kill things while still being strict enough that you need to be really good or really careful

Id argue that it's not a "more aggressive" AI, its just that the AI stops following the game's rules.. Attack animations continue through parries, the damage they take seems to drop off a cliff, and I have MANY clips of this but apparently if you kill a boss while its in an attack animation it will continue that animation until its finished.

@@nfortin24 it's definitely both, and the reason they continue to attack after a parry is that they have more stagger resistance so you need to parry more than once to stagger them. They also just use more red attacks back to back. Especially the Valkyrie queen I died like 10times with her one hit away because she'd just go beast mode and spam red attacks 😂

@@nfortin24 the rules didn't change just added complexity to it. It takes some getting used to, it's very triggering though.

@@GenesiisDavid I worked around it and got the plat trophy, no its not "complexity" its a straight rules change. You can go and look at the one video I have on my profile to see an example of the dead boss still fighting. Complexity would be adding new moves or tactics to their set, or another phase that changes the fight somehow.. not simply changing how animations work, how much damage they take, or how blocking/parrying work..

They also improve the story and pacing ten fold. I noticed that if you do a side quest right when it is offered, it ties into the story at that moment. Actually most of them in that area serve that purpose. I think that's why the game reminds you so often that you have options. Bernadette the optional stuff in this game is better than the main stuff in 99 percent of all other games out right now

I can confirm. The later part of Vannaheim cooked tf outta me (literally). I had to go back and do all the side quests and explore for treasures just to stand a chance

Once you get to a certain point, it becomes more even. Sadly it takes longer in this game than the first.

That took me a minute too but in the end what I lacked was patience and I kept playing when I was tired. The Valkyrie queen is also a tough fight

It’s sorta been confirmed (or inferred) that all the pantheon exist simultaneously on the same planet. Creator and story director confirmed that each pantheons mythos takes place simultaneously and that each origin for how the universe started (based off each mythology) are all correct somehow. So, all of this takes place on the same earth but each continent or country that houses a pantheon is actually like a pocket dimension; they all hold WAY more space than what they appear to from an outside perspective. So look at each continent as a mini earth in itself if that makes sense.

geographically it doesn't make sense for all the pantheons to live on one planet. Like is Altas holding the planet for all the pantheons? Are all the realms from different planets or the same one? I'm sure there's more conflicting myths for each pantheon.
