This is a 5th generation Apple iPod Classic released in 2005.
iFlash board, new front case, new back case, new battery, new everything! This iPod has every upgrade you could want and nothing went wrong this time! (well, spoiler... After filming this video I noticed that the headhone jack only outputs one channel, (it plays out of one side of earphones only) -- It was like that all along and I only realized that after... Makes me wanna refresh my 7th gen back and front. Id never replace a hard drive with a SD card unless the HDD failed, I just love to feel the drive spinning up, brings me back to when every computer had HDD's.

I have an iPod classic that doesn't turn on and it shows a weird battery symbol I haven't seen before and I bought a battery to replace. Can I do it on my own by following instructions and videos online, or I should take it to the store to change it? I have no experience at all.
