@@devon9374 I'm not sure why adoption is sluggish in the US, but I have a few theories. 1. There are many competitors to Apple Pay, so the market is fragmented and harder for any one to take off. 2. Americans are generally distrustful of new tech conveniences. Look at how voting is still paper in many places. There's no tech reason for that, but people's distrust. We trust our life savings in banks to machines but not our votes. 3. Americans have a difficult time giving up cash for what I think are unfounded fears.
Arthur, great video and presentation. While I can’t completely replace my iPhone 13Mini with my Ultra2, I, like you have learned that I can leave my phone at home more often than not. It is liberating not having to constantly keep my phone in a pocket. Btw, in 1952-1956 I lived in Fontainebleau where my Dad was stationed being in the US Army. We went to Paris several times and have great memories of France. I was 6 when we returned to America. It was great seeing your video of Paris.
Not being able to support carplay is a deal breaker for me. I really want to ditch my iphone badly for just a watch and macbook for bigger things. I hope apple will think about this use case.
exactly they don't want to kill iPhone sales that's why the Apple Watch is still half-toy and half-iPhone. Same with iPad. They don't want to kill MacBook that's why iPad is not running macOS.
Nice 24 hour perspective of an Apple Watch Ultra user in France 🇫🇷 being without an iPhone. 📱 Does the ultra drain minimal battery during sleep tracking? My Apple Watch Series 6 drains about 15-30%.
@@ArthurBrassartyeah I noticed your Apple Watch Ultra 2 is still in the 90-95% after sleep tracking. 9:03 did the iPhone 15 Pro was used as only a camera for the video? Control center shows that the Apple Watch is connected to an iPhone.
Greetings from Australia. Awesome video mate. What’s that weather complication you have on the middle of your watch face at the beginning of your video ?
Great video, I recently bought a apple watch series 8 eith cellular but was really dissepointed with the battery. When i went out for a bike ride with only the watch and airpods it was empty in like 2 hours. So im thinking about getting a ultra doe you think it will do alot beter?
Hey Techdude! Test idea. Since Samsung is not fulfilling my dream of a Galaxy Mini 5.4" and the completely copied Apple Watch Ultra 😅, I wanted to ask you if you could do a whole day trip with the new Galaxy Watch Ultra and the Apple Watch Ultra 2. Smartwatch without a smartphone very good....digital detox ☝🏽🤔 Among other things, I would be interested to know whether the Apple Watch Ultra can be connected to Bluetooth and the car radio. Of course there are many car radios 😅 Day trip example, Shipping day meeting up with friends: of course buy EVERYTHING using the smartwatches, workout in the morning, trip through a city with sat nav, lunch, dinner, maybe an evening cocktail 🍸 etc. you'll come up with something.🥳
Thanks 🙏 I am using 10$ metal bracelet from AliExpress. I think the purchase link is in the description. The original bracelet from Apple is like 300$ 😂
Hi, thanks for your comment and for your subscription :) The weight scale is really cheap. I bought it for just 20 USD on Amazon. The brand is called Renpho. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zm0fD00kX38.html
Thanks! Hope one day Apple will pay me 😺 I am too insignificant in the RU-vid game 😁 BTW if you are looking for some Apple Watch Apps check this out: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-C_5lxRzc3Zc.html
In this video, I used a game called MiniGames. Check out the full video about games on Apple Watch ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-V0whJJucSn0.html
I was not using 4G while running because i have all music and podcasts stored offline on my watch. For other tasks - yes i want connected via my phone when i was at home
I am using my cellular phone plan when the watch is connected to my iPhone. I don't want to receive calls on my watch when I am running or intentionally leaving my iPhone at home. In this video, I used my Apple Watch 90% without my iPhone ;) It was only connected to my iPhone when I was in the restaurant and at home.
@@ArthurBrassart I bought the Ultra2 this week but then found out you need an iPhone to activate it 😭. So i need the cheapest phone running ios 17 which is a used iPhone SE 2nd gen. 🤷
If you were to turn off some features on the watch, like always on and some other unnecessary features on the watch you will probably exceed your expectations. Apple likes to turn on every little tool as a default
@@ArthurBrassartgreat video! I got my Apple Watch Ultra 2 last month coming from a series 4 best watch on the planet! Pairs great with my 15 pro max, do you think cellular is definitely worth getting? I was thinking about it, can you still manage your whole music library and do car play?
Aplikacja nazywa się „Lose It”. Tracker kalorii.
