Chris tried every drug known to man aspiring to be like his hero, Hunter S. Thompson. He found that drugs were his only way of functioning from day to day. He would get clean and then go right back to where he started. A near death experience put his life into perspective to finding long term sobriety.

Another aspecy of drugs is the fact that you cannot get enough. When that happens all logic jumps out the window, You will ultimately spiral out of control unless you seek help, Yes this story is inspirational but not easy it took him a lot to get here. I respect that.

Him being afraid of sobriety meant he was afraid to face his fears. Well, the near death experience he had gave him the courage to face his fears. Am happy he made this decision to change his life for the better.

The near death experience which he mentioned was very lethal. People in addiction should take a learning and should take a step towards sobriety as everyone don't have the same luck as he had.

Being afraid of sobriety is not easy in life. Facing such sobriety is even harder. So glad for chris to have survived such near death experience. And the best way to survive such sobriety is to abstain from the use of harmful drugs.

Over exposure to a stagnant awareness (sobriety) often results in an unquenchable thirst for schaddenfreude, pleasure derived from the hardships/suffering of others.

We must be strong to overcome all problems or whether we must be positive in all ways. Not just like falling into addiction that can lead also in another problem. Inspiring story to tell in young people.

It is really hard if your body got used to drugs. You thought that you are just taking drugs for self consumption but the truth is you are already drug dependent. It is hard to know if you are already drug dependent without any help.

I know people say weed isn’t addictive but why is it that I can’t go a whole 24 hours without it I’m always smoking and always feel the urge too even tho I don’t get high anymore but I still do it, yet I can’t take a tolerance break because again I can’t last one day without it maybe for different people like me it’s addictive Can anyone else please relate so I don’t feel like it’s just me
@fancyjosh111

Anything can be addictive. Shopping can be addictive. Weed can absolutely be addictive. My advice is most importantly stay away from more dangerous substances, weed is tolerable you can be a successful weed addict lol. I've never met a successful heroin addict. As far as weed goes just stop. Take advil or something to get rid of the headaches and eventually you'll be clean. That's when it gets hard.

Reverse engineering modern western societies requires a most predictable population. A most predictable (pliable) population competes amongst one another for sobriety, chastity, productivity, predictability, etc.
