Hey everyone,
Well I'm sure its not the prettiest puzzle game ever (it just a joke before someone gets upset 😂) but this is turning out to look better than I ever thought it would or planned it to be! Things have certainly got out of control compared to original idea of making a simple Puzzle game! 😂
Just a quick work in progress video on going from Blocking Out to replacing with high quality meshes/gfx! Still needs all sorts of things being done (audio, music, optimisation, etc) :)

The game is stunning! I'm in the midst of migrating my Unity game prototype to Unreal Engine (rebuilding it from scratch 😅) , so I'm thrilled to properly work on it after a few successful tests. I'm truly impressed by what you were able to achieve in Unreal-the potential seems boundless.

Well man, thank you! I did exactly what you are doing and moved from Unity and I got quite far with making a game in Unity so its been a bit of a slog trying to learn everything I need to learn to rebuild what I made as things are different in UE5. Keep going with it man, UE5 is amazing and the potential for it (not just games but also film) is absolutely incredible! :) I'm gonna start making some actual tutorial videos on this stuff soon. Just hobbyist videos of things I've been learning but could be helpful (especially when I forget how I did something in 6 months (or maybe 6 mins) time) 😂

This is incredible mate. Now that open ai made chat gpt-4o available for everyone for free, do you plan on using ai to create scripts for coding rather than using blueprints?

Hey man, thank you! I've not actually tried ChatGPT4 for game development but this is an excellent idea man. I would love to see if that can help. I have been trying to learn Blueprints as I don't come from a coding background. I wonder if AI can help with that? If so I would be well up for using it! Anything to help get to the end result is a good thing for me! :)

I just tried GPT4o. It actually can create descriptions and steps but when I asked it to show me visually, it was just a nonsensical mess without even using real words. That's a shame. I wonder if it can create C++ code and it actually work!? That would be a game changer

Thanks man! It’s not finished yet but I’m happy with how this is shaping up! So much time and effort for a short experience. It’s giving me ideas for my main game and I definitely want it to look good 😂
