There is that sense of a joint effort in the videos. With other singers, musicians, and Kelly making it all viewable. Even though I have gravitated to blues/rock, this last year it's been Josh & friends that I keep watching and enjoying.

Josh's virtuosity speaks for itself. Ditto his charm. But Allison . . the voice, the looks, the hair (!), the hint of naughtiness (scarlet lipstick anyone?) albeit of the nicest possible sort of course: I am properly in love. What a wonderful performance. Made all the more so by the very stern bassist and his hat. Do you suppose he enjoyed himself as he thumped away? Well, I did. An utter delight.

I saw them last Wednesday in Jackson MS and they put on a great show! This is one of my favorite songs by The Bygones and the crowd loved it. So glad I got the chance to see them. Allison is the cutest thing ever!

Love that you covered a Roger Miller song. It brought back a great memory for me from 40 years ago. I was with the family in Lake Tahoe and my father in law was excited to get tickets to Roger Whitaker at one of the casinos. Roger Whittaker was a soothing tenor that sold tons of CDs on TV ads back in the day. We went to the show and the announcer said "Give a big round of applause for Roger Miller!!" The opening song was "Can't roller skate in a buffalo herd." My father in law was dumbstruck with embarrassment and I laughed like a loon through the first 20 minutes. Great job you two.

Every time I hear something that Josh produced I just can't believe how someone can be so crazy skilled in multiple fields. I mean the performances are one thing but the productions are just top notch as well every single time. Absolutely nailed the vintage sound... I just think it's rude how good this sounds :D no but in all seriousness, thank you for sharing all your amazing work! I feel super inspired every time I listen to one of your creations.

Thank you both for an amazing blast from the past! When I was a child my daddy had Roger Miller on 8-track that we liked to listen to in the car. I'd stand on the front seat and sing along with him while he drove.

I've never heard this song before & dont know who Roger Miller is, but what fun that was watching you sing it. I love that your band loves the music. I'm taking my entire family to theHoward Theater show in April. This is one of the few groups that transcend generations. Every song is melodic, joyful, and musically sophisticated. They incorporate so many historical styles with a modern vibe that is rarely mastered to this level.

I’m sure Josh is aware of Roger Millers extensive catalog of music, and it wouldn’t upset me one bit if he and Allison covered more of Roger’s music. I’d love to hear Josh, cover something from Jerry Reed like maybe Amos Moses, Lord Mr Ford, or When your hot your hot, all catchy tunes with some good guitar licks in them. Finally, that rendition was actually better than the original, and I love the original. What talent!
