Installing New Wheels on the Mazda 3!

Been following this build for awhile now been wanting to get a Mazda 3 6 speed but can’t find anything around locally

Thanks! I glad to hear you've been following for a while now! The Mazda 3 came with a 6 speed in the 2.5 MZR engines, and for the 2012+ Skyactiv engines. If you're looking at 2.0 MZR engines they all came 5 speed from what I remember reading. Hope this helps! 👍

looks slick! Was debating on whether I go up to 18" on mine or stick with 17". I'll be sticking with 17 after seeing this, just need to get the fitment right and there's no need to upsize

If you're in Britain the NC MX5's 16 inch 5 spoke Enkeis are forged and can be had for ridiculously cheap, I got a full set for £80. They're very light and look pretty good

I like your channel. With all the cool mods you do, have you thought about purchasing a draggy so you can align a 0-60 and 1/4 mile times with each upgrade. It would be nice to have a data trail.

I love konig hypergrams. Can you share the wheel and tire dimensions and offset along with the spacer size in the rear. Looks similar to the 17x8 +35 wheels I'm currently running with 215 45 17. Gonna go to 225s when I change tires tho

Thanks! That's the wheel tire size I'm actually running, 215/45R17 all around, wheels are 17x8 +35 and I installed some 10mm spacers in the back. Hope this helps! 👍

Hypergrams are freaking beautiful! I'm debating on replacing my RPF1s with either Hypergrams of Ultraleggera (my favorite wheel ever) for the past 6 or so years

Thanks!! Yes I love them too!! If you do change your wheels they are both great choices and would look great no matter what. But if you're saying the Ultralaggera are your favorite wheels maybe you already chose which ones you want haha 👍

Please tell me if I buy 18" rims on the Eibach Sport Kit, will they fit? Will they not fit on the car?

I did run 18" wheels on my white Mazda 3 with the Eibach Sportline, you just need to run tinner tires like the Mazdaspeed 3, and be mindful of the offset, if you look at some of my older videos you can see how the car looked like.

Good call, the specs on RPF1s are killer for the price but they are FUGLY on these cars. I've been eying the Enkei PF01, Konig Hypergram, and WedsSport TC105X. They all look pretty similar, just some variation in the spoke spacing and color options, and they're all about 16-17 lbs for a 17". OZ Racing has some wheels around 15 lb if you don't mind super-thin spokes, but it costs hundreds more to lose that extra pound. Still cheaper than fully forged though. For now I don't have the play money to justify dropping $1000 on new wheels, so all I can do is look :( I've got Justin tuning my car now, after the first log he's suggested I install the same plugs and fuel pump you mentioned in one of your videos, so that's gonna delay me getting to the fun part, but I'm looking forward to the process.

That's great you won't be disappointed with the tune! I was also looking at the PF01, but ended up finding these used on marketplace. 👍
