LOVE this video! I’m a semi free former, 4 months in. This I my 3rd set of locs in 20 years, and I am committed to being minimalist in my use of products. So, I wash often, no conditioner, mist daily with a rosewater/aloe vera mix, and if my hair feels dry, I use jojoba oil exclusively. So far, this is my best set of locs!
I did know about jojoba oil. My locs love Castor oil and Jamaican black castor oil. I know this is a little controversial in the loc community but it worked when I was a loose natural and it is still working to seal in moisture in my locs. I use it sparingly and only once or twice a week. Once after I shampoo my locs and once again during the week after spraying my locs well with distilled water. My locs are shoulder length so washing them once a week is easy.
I've used jojoba oil when I was a loose natural and I will continue using it while loc'd. I have lil baby locs but I'm interested in the jewelry. Gives me something to look forward to.
I’ve used jojoba as a back-up oil if out of EVOO or Vitamin E oil. Never had a problem with it, but didn’t know it was actually a wax! It’s in the cabinet- I’ll continue to use. Loc jewelry very pretty... heading to your IG page now!
Very informative. I had no idea. You said something about your loc jewelry just as I was sitting here saying, I wonder where she gets her loc jewelry, lol. Im not on Instagram though,(I'm old😁). Will you also notify on your channel where to get it? They're really cute. Thanks.
What’s you say🤔.... I was too busy “Looking at you” that I missed everything you said 🤦🏽♂️.... BTW your 🔒 looking good and so does y--nvm 😂 but Stay💪🏾. Stay🔒....
I put jojoba in spray bottle with rose water and other oils...wasn’t impressed. But I used it moisturize my cuticles and nails and I love it!! Maybe I’ll run it across my scalp instead of my locs 🤔
