So many useful tips in these videos. I’ve been using Mac for many years but I’m finding out loads of helpful new stuff having come across this channel. Thank you!
I've been using Windows PCs for some time before using Macs. And I do productive work using both systems. Of course, there are differences and limitations. If I had used Macs before PCs I think I would be overwhelmed with the variety of how you compute and use the operating system to your liking. In Macs, it's pretty straightforward. Actually, it's more of a choice like in cars whether you go for a manual-driven or automatic.
Thanks for your great video! One small amendment to Quick Look: It also works perfectly with sound files and videos. Just hit the space bar, and Quick Look will play your audio files or show a preview of a video clip.
I liked the video, but i have a quicker way to save the screenshot to clipboard, hit CMD + CTRL + SHIFT + 3 PS (you can do that also with a specific region by pressing CMD + CTRL + SHIFT + 4)
@@macvince okay thank you. Another question I have is how do you know what size to put a window. I always tend do maximize or full screen all the windows but they tell me it is not the way
I have a question. I'm trying to share WiFi from my Macbook Pro M2 Pro but it won't let me do it. Being connected by WiFi, it does not allow me to create a shared WiFi network. does it happen to you too? Is it due to a limitation of the WiFi card?
You're right - AI tools definitely do it better. But considering the Summarize feature has been on Mac for ages, it works really well for a quick summary.
Thanks for many good tips! One good function you do not have in your video but that is very useful is the "Cut and paste" shortcut for files. Mac does not have a shortcut for cutting, but if you copy the files (cmd + c) and paste them using the key combination cmd + option + v, the files are moved to the new location.
@@UsithI think this is a very old mac feature. There is no cmd-x for files, but you can move the files through folders, holding them for a long time over the folders.
Raycast also! Wondering if instead of creating bookmarks or quicklinks, Alfred or Raycast would get the links copied on the desk! That would be so much faster!
Man ur so underated! Keep up the great work, i belive in you. (For me your best video is the one about 10 mac apps you regret not using sooner.) Just saying :)
