No matter the most extreme extents of deep Windows customisation I delve, it doesn’t look or feel half as good as stock iOS does and almost always gives me incompatibility and performance issues. At the moment, my ideal plan of action would be keeping my current PC, using it for gaming and a storage/streaming hub between all my devices and any other specific odd times when its graphical performance and 32gb of memory are required/preferred, but then spending the rest of my time on an M1 MacBook Air in conjunction with my iPad Mini 6. Something that oddly enough is more prevalent in the Apple/Mac ecosystem. The quality of the paid/subscription apps is sometimes higher than free/open-source apps available for Windows/Linux, but very often they are not and ask prices that (to me) are ridiculous for what they offer. I guess the economics make sense for those developers, but that also means that the Mac user demographic likely keeps this situation intact as enough people are apparently willing to pay too much for very little functionality. Which makes me grateful for videos like this that show that there are indeed free apps out there that are awesome.

Wow. Out of all the videos I've watched on productivity apps for Mac, this was by far the best. Most of these videos tend to cover the same apps repeatedly and I always skip through trying to find what I'm looking for/never watch the whole thing. This was the first time I actually watched one all the way through without skipping and literally wrote down like every single app to download lol. You showed genuinely helpful apps that I've never heard of before and for stuff that I haven't been able to find the right solution for. & you went into detail and showed us how to use it AND a bunch of different things it can be used for. I'm looking forward to watching more of your videos!! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and keep up the great content!

Thank you so much for this and many other super useful videos. I really like your content, but your macOS Apps/Tips kind of videos are simply in a league of their own. In this Tech RU-vid era there is a lot of quality content out there BUT you continue to impress me with different cool topics, your approach to them and your pleasant style of presenting it all to us! I've been using macOS for the last 20 years and I am constantly on the lookout for some great new macOS apps.. paid or free.. so seeing a video with some free new apps that can be useful is something that very rarely can surprise me. And even if it does, I would download an app or two, not more. I downloaded most of the apps you listed in the video and I am very happy with them :). Thank you very much and as always stay snazzy! :D

Man IM LOVING the freebies. Especially raycast I just couldn't get into alfred but now I have something I like more than spotlight. Shottr as well absolutely insane especially for me as I screen shot multiple times a day. Dropover is once again amazing. Orion HOLY love the speed and feel of safari but man the add ons in Firefox is just better imo. Now I have both in one app. Imo this video had better apps than your other videos (not a bash just rather a compliment to this video). I have never watched a video and downloaded this many apps that I truly expect to stay on my Mac forever. I don't mind paying for apps I JUST HATE this subscription model.

First time viewer and subscriber, and this was incredible. The one question I have is what program do you use for filming where your Picture in Picture video was changing size etc. That looked incredibly professional and engaging. Thank you

i like to think of myself as pretty good at finding apps like these, and yet like 6 of them i did not know, so thank you! Thank you for making videos that are actually useful and not just the same as others. I love your channel.

This is an awesome video, I love Later and Shottr. I've also downloaded Raycast, I'll check it out when I have a little free time this week. I use Alford by it's been acting up, so I've reverted back to Spotlight as my go to. I"ll see what Raycast fits into my day-to-day usage. Thanks for sharing.
