I might be hopeless. I'm deaf and have been playing for 35 years... oh.. and I'm broke and by broke I mean so broke I cant even pay the $60 a year which is only $5 a month.. but I wish every one else would have enough common sense to buy and learn and btw.. I'm also a terrible student... but I think your awesome. Keep up the good work. Thanks.

I was going to buy a really beautiful guitar off of reverb for pretty cheap with my own money. Today my mom heard a song, the spirit of radio by rush, and it sounded really hard. She said if I played it she would buy the guitar for me. Long story short I've been practicing it for 20 minutes and I've memorized it and can play it at half speed and she's worried. update: riff learned, bet won, guitar ordered

This video was awesome. I had an annual subscription and last month it renewed automatically and I had forgotten it would happen. I'm about to go on deployment exercise and as soon as I contacted customer service they didn't ask questions, reimbursed me right away. After watching this video and seeing the new system, there was no way that I would miss it. Being able to go on a monthly basis helped, so I signed up and will cancel once I leave. When I'm back, I'm getting another year. Thanks Tyler! Keep doing what you do, you inspire me!

I remember seeing a Strat on display some decades ago. I picked it up and started playing it. It didn't feel amazing in my hands, and I could see it was pretty beaten up. I started playing it and after about 10 minutes or so I felt this connection and went into almost a dreamlike state. I know it sounds corny but there was something about it, some ethereal connection I had. I convinced myself it was just my mind trippin but I couldn't shake it. I put it back down and stared at it for a while, then made my decision. That day I walked out to my car empty handed. It still rings in my mind all these years later about the loss. Sometimes you just gotta grab the ring and live life.

Same over here. When you advertised "searching musicians to form a band" you got calls from 990 solo guitarists, (917 could not even tune their instruments), 4 drummers (6 of them couldn't count to 3), 3 piano players, 2 bass players (who were really 1 guitarist and 1 organist) and 1 rhythm guitar player... a few years later you'd get 35 guitarists less and instead 35 keyboarders who'd never get the same sound twice...

Sick Strat bro. I've always had a soft spot for 70's Stratocaster's because of the playable neck. Not real big on single coils, but, you get such a classic guitar sound from them I won't lie. I started at 7 years old on a red/white EVH Strat clone that my dad got me, with single coils and a similar neck to the 70's strat, I think that will always be my go to is the strat body style. To this day I still have that first one (it has single EMG 85 and a Floyd Rose now though 😈🤘)

My s/o has a '76 P bass with the most fantastic feeling neck I've ever played. I get what you're saying about Fender necks from that era, and it applies to their basses, too. I'm glad you worked SUPER hard on your SUPER system!

I have never cared for strats because of the contours... tele's speak more to me. But the combo of the pickups, the neck, the age, your excited hands... It's making me kinda want to get or build a strat now. And of course, congrats on the super system update dude. ❤ I'm going to check it out on the app store shortly.

The 70's strat are my favourite! In my opion are the best for sound, and also i love the big headstock! And maybe I'm the only one who love the 3 bolt neck! Maybe why I grew up listening Hendrix and Blackmore

Happy for you and your the new addition to your collection. However, I just love the look/paint-color of your Paoletti (as in the previous video). In my opinion, one of the best looking guitar out there, and you own it!!

I'm curious to ask, since you said this is the first time you felt this way since your green PRS, have you struggled making that same connection with the purple PRS?
@JimmyFeelsIt
@JimmyFeelsIt 2 года назад
I felt like he didn't like it as much as he hoped... Sure, it looks awesome but I feel like he isn't talking about the purple private stock in the way of it being something that is so incredibly special. Maybe he is really just talking about the "it has mojo and stories" aspect tho. The green PRS has been his baby for years and he has experienced things with it. And the 72 is just as mojo as it gets. The purple one probably needs to be worn in to have the same appeal as the other two. Like, I'm pretty sure he LOVES it but it's not that somewhat mysterious, old companion it is yet to become over the years.
@Bacontruffle

@@JimmyFeelsIt That makes sense, yeah, maybe he meant it more in the way of a guitar that has the battle scars and history like his green PRS does ALso, now that you mention it, I have also noticed that, he doesn't use the purple PRS that much and I don't hear him mentioning it much, so maybe something about it isn't quite as he'd hoped? Happens to the best of us

It makes sense to me I love Guitars but can't play , I'm in to bikes I bought a near new Harley with a 103 Engine after I got it off the trailer and put it in the shed I walked over to my 1985 Evo and patted the Dash and said I'm Sorry , we have been though 280,000 Kl 3 rebuilds I did lots of Custom work on her , I did try to love the new one but Evan throwing money at it didn't help , so I have sold it to a friend of mine , ( and the Evo Her name is Wanna Boogie , stopped leaking oil )

Dude that's awesome. As a guitarist/musician, I can't wait for my moment either. Also, I may envy you a little bit lol. Side note, I noticed you've lost a lot of weight compared to your older videos. I see it in your face mainly. So, keep up the good work both musically and focusing on your health.

Bloody good on you! I find that RU-vid guitarists, compared to rock guitarists, are far and away better guitarists. They don’t have hit singles or great albums to fall back on. They only have their skill and personality. The solo at the end of this video is some of the most jaw dropping tasty phrasing I have heard, and a great example. It’s beautiful! Thanks for the content I will definitely keep watching.

70s guitars are extremely underrated. I feel like a lot of the opinions in the 90s and 2000s were from the fact that 70s guitars weren’t really considered valuable enough to have major work refrets/setups/neck resets done. 99 % of the 70s guitars that people showed me that “sucked” that just needed a neck adjustment and refret. I worked in a vintage guitar shop and played tons of really bad 60s fenders and Gibsons. Some of the best guitars I have ever played are 70s Fenders, Gibsons and Martins.
