When I was 8 I found this girl, she was different from the others, she would smile every second every minute, every moment. She was always happy, she would stand up and be proud of who she is. I was 10 and realized I liked her... she and I became friends. I was 12 and we started liking each other, we hold hands and loved to be around together. I was 13 and she went to the hospital. She was getting abused and I didn’t even realize, all those smiles she gave was to hide the pain. She told me she loved me and she was laying down there on that bed. I asked do you truly like me or is it to hide the pain... she said, I guess you found out haha...I’m sorry. I was 14 and we broke up. I am now 15 and have realized that all those things she said about not liking me were a lie. She didn’t like me she loved me... and without realizing it I left her... she said she didn’t like me to let me go so I can find happiness. 6 months ago, she committed suicidal. Till this day I regret leaving her side. Everyday I tell myself it’s all my fault that I couldn’t be there for her when she was there for me. I miss you. To the person who read this, It’s been hard for you, I know, and it makes me sad that you don’t see yourself in the way I see you. Sometimes they are things in life that cause us to loose ourselves, and the way you have is so unimaginable painful. I miss your smile, the way your eyes light up the whole room just by the sound of your laughter. I miss the way you accepted the way you look in the mirror without cursing yourself out about how ugly you look. I miss the way you didn’t think of yourself as a failure because everyone makes mistakes, we all have flaws and we all aren’t perfect. I remember when I was little we lived in a small house, a kind neighbourhood with the school quite near. We would say hi to the neighbours everyday and go out with other people and socialise, not because mum begged us to, but because we wanted to. I remember visiting my dad's work and going there early in the morning with my sister. We would use our heelies in the town centre bit in london after getting croissants. We would get hot chocolates in his break room and watch the view all day. Going to school was nice then. no arguments, no BEST friends- just playing with whoever u wanted, playing hide and seek and tag with the cousins whenever they came over. Now, it's different we moved house and don't see the neighbours anymore we don't visit my dad's work anymore we don't go and get croissants in london with our heelies we have expectations and friends we have to stick with now because everybody has their own friend groups now we don't play with the cousins when they come round anymore my sister's in the hospital because of an eating disorder she has been fighting for over 5 months now my mum and dad are holding in all their concerns and worries for everybody else around them and not a care for themselves I grew depression and attempted suicide 2 times I don't have the relationships i used to with anybody anymore I miss living

I have a dog's best friend, but he knows how to comfort me, make me smile and make me forget about problems and sadness and that I love him very much and I understand that I will lose him .... again💔😞
