polygyny is a tricky one. It takes a very specific personality and all the pieces have to fall into place otherwise it’s a mess

Wouldnt it be better for zak to sit on the other side of taha so its easier for the host to see and talk to all 3 of them.

Season 1 is ending soon, so we will try that out for the next season! Although that may look awkward, having 3 people on 1 camera angle.. 😅

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته I just wanted to say I don’t always agree with everything mentioned on this channel but genuinely بارك الله فيك for such a balanced approach to polygyny! It’s very rare to find men these days speak about it with a balanced approach. May ﷲ reward you all.

Salam alaykum, I really enjoy your videos. I always watch them within the first one to two days after they are released. However, I have some honest feedback. I think you should avoid giving advice on divorce, especially since you are in your mid-20s with limited experience in life and marriage. For issues like these, you should refer people to an Islamic council that deals with these issues and can provide professional help. Imagine if the person who submitted this issue watched this video and went through with a divorce, ending up with a broken household when this could have been avoided with professional help. Please reconsider posting these videos in the future, and you may also want to remove some parts that Brother Zak mentioned. Otherise i really enjoyed the second part of the discussion about polygyny. May allah bless you all

Waalaikum assalaam. Great advice! However the question asked to them was, what would YOU do in this situation. Not, what should the person do. Divorce requires both sides of the story and a judge should be consulted before a decision like divorce is made.

Thank you for being polite in your response. Please refer to minute 13:10 which is the part I thought shouldn't of been mentioned

The thing is theres a reason why in Islam the father and man of the house is given alot of respect when he does his job well because he needs to make decisions which is best for the entire family not just for himself, is he really going to leave his poor children have a mother who cant control her emotions and have to witness this fight till they become adults? Of course divorcing or getting 2nd wife will make the husbands life easy, but this is not a kaafir family, be a man and make her get therapy we cant help the family we grew up, nor do we marry perfect humans, he probably has his own issues, but can do our best to get help to get help and make better life for our kids, divorce or not you choose this women to marry the children didnt Falsely accusing someone of abusing you especially infront of kids is a huge offence and has long term implication so he doesn't have to stay, but do what you can for the sake of your children

That’s where The Marriage Meeting box comes in handy. Ask the right questions and it will be easy to see the red flags and inconsistency in the conversation. Get yours at ZawajCards.com

It’s a tough one - but the number one factor is looking into the potential and their family within the community. Asking about them, what they are known for, what their character is like etc. also making sure to pray Istikara often and asking people of knowledge and your own family for advice. Even then, if it’s decreed for you to marry this person and they turn out to be a liar etc then it was what was written for you. Perhaps there was a lesson to learn, maybe you needed to develop as a person etc. ﷲ knows best

This is a narcissistic women who will do all these they will cut wrist and go on the court and give false allegations to say the husband abused her the more longer he stays with her the prb going to get more worse shes going to do more stuff . She needs to go to narcissistic coach. if shes doing it front of the kids and the kids are watching all thse the kids gonna get into trauma. Coz she was brought up into abusive family then she has so much traumas now shes passing it to her husband .this environment its not healthy for the kids .

Men usually tend to be absent fathers, so if they get 2nd wives it makes there life easier as they don’t fully commit to either jumping back and fourth, hence the popularity. Also to add it’s not that men can love women more then women love, it’s that men don’t love as hard as women so men can move between women and not feel bad as they don’t love as much as women and women traditionally can easily be manipulated and abused cause she loves to much hence why she needs wali when getting married

Men aren’t usually absent fathers. What you might mean is that fathers are less present than mothers in early childhood, which is true. This means the mother has less time and the father has more time for intimate relations. This tipped scale is what makes polygyny desirable to many men. In the end the man needs to decide what is best for his family, and not only what is best for him. Nothing to do with men not loving as hard as women do, as that changes from person to person.

@@ZawajCards men are absent fathers, my tutor who is English has taught privately for over 20years said he has noticed in our cultures men do not get involved with children’s education, my daughter’s counsellors a Muslim man for many years who also teaches in high school has said muslim men do not get involved in children’s lives and leave everything to women. He was shocked to see my husband at the meeting ( I made my Huby attend with a severe warning) I think Muslims needs to wake up and understand men are not shepherds anymore hence why polgmny is so appealing now as it’s another escape. I am in my 40s raised very traditionally when I was in my 20s honestly believed men should lead and they always know best so even if women didn’t agree they should put their trust in their men but now 20 years later looking at so many marriages I realised how wrong I was.
