More Eric gales lick lessons. He often uses scale sequencing going down and up scales at patterns. Much more to learn from his licks because they have a jazz style to his solos with chromatic notes and slurs used.
I also love Eric's style and approach to blues phrasing, always keeps things interesting such a huge talent and inspiration. I'll probably do more of his solos, he has just awesome sounding licks
I'm astonished, you literally picked this apart 3 weeks after it's release!? I'm mostly baffled by Eric's parts because of his inverted approach, but honestly what an incredible job you've done, wow!
Thanks very much, I appreciate it! Yeah Eric has a very unique way of playing the instrument where visual moment doesn't do much in terms of decoding what he's actually playing , so it's up to ears to do the job :) He's one of mine favorite guitarist, always with a fresh approach to phrasing and I feel he deserves a lot more recognition
@@chasingfrets Yes and it looks weird when you see it the right way up! Just by the nature of where his fingers will lie and how he moves from different anchor points is really interesting!
Great song ! You sound great on this thanks for the lesson ! I just discovered Eric recently by seeing a post on Joe B’s site and i can’t believe his amazing playing and songwriting! I spent the whole week listening to everything he’s got like “ story of my life “ album and others just amazing! I thought i heard everybody lol! Thanks again for this :)
Thanks very much Mike! Eric is such an amazing guitarists and one of those artists that just flew under the radar for many people given the sheer talent and musical ability his blessed with. Enjoy the lesson :)
@@chasingfrets it gets a bit repetitive but its pretty strong. Its pretty much hi energy rock with very Hendrixy pentatonic solos. Killing tone etc. Most of it stays in that one bag but there was like one lick where he stepped out slightly lol. Then he sort of got sidetracked into drugs etc I guess
@@chasingfrets like I said, it can get a bit repetitive but its got a good vibe. Im sure he grew more variety as he aged ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sNq5DdWypU8.html
No estoy muy familiarizado con el repertorio de Paul (solo conozco algunas de las canciones más populares) pero si me encuentro con algún solo interesante que me guste (y estoy seguro de que hay muchos) daré una lección al respecto. , ¿Por qué no? :)

Dont know if u ever heard of Phil Sayce before. He used to play with Jeff Healey. Dude has a lot of fire in the SRV/Hendrix style. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5BQWL2UwAmM.html
