I Want To Date My BJJ Teammate 

I love having to deal with other people’s dating drama at the gym. Totally what I signed up for. /s

I've dated 2 of my teammates for a short period (I'm male) I'd say it was more awkward before we were dating than when we were dating. Because of the flirting while training and stuff that the coaches noticed xD. but after that, the coaches never changed anything to accommodate us, we sparred with whoever and nothing about training necessarily changed. Even when we broke up, it was still cool. One of them quit training and the other still trains with us to this day and we still go on runs 3x a week lol (we sparred yesterday too 😂). I guess I got lucky as there is one guy at my gym that it gets awkward with for him, it's pretty intense when he has to spar his ex gf (no words, just intense stares and after the round ends they just walk away, meanwhile everyone else hugs and pats on the back and high fives for days lol) 😂 Great video guys, feel like this is a topic not many ppl talk about. Such a bad idea (unless it’s so insanely perfect your willing to leave the gym on a moments notice) there’s tons of horror stories and many gyms have fallen apart form this. I could literally tell story after story ending in jail or gym sued, fights , mma fights,etc I’ve heard and seen a ton over my 18 years. Even if your not dating all the sexual crap can ruin things.. my first instructor literally changed after the I started dating the prettiest girl and everything went to hell. Had to leave the school.. Marcelo Garcia had to leave his first gym because the instructor was after his girlfriend/ future wife of 2 decades

the gym is a place to escape that stuff. i think its a fucking idiotic idea.
