Kat is a 20 year old who has experienced things that most of us don't, even by age 40. She has a very complicated family tree with a number of siblings, most of which she is not full blood related to. She went through a stage where she would cut herself, but with therapy came out of that with an amazing outlook on her life, her future, what she deserves and strives for. She has a smile for everyone and when I met her was no different. She was singing on a hillside in a park. She was singing because for her it is a therapeutic coping mechanism that allows her to connect with others.
