@@thelaughingrouge They already did talk about it on this weeks pod and Pat basically just said that he dislikes pretty much all of it's influences and choices but understands he's in the extreme minority here and one point literally says "My emotional reaction to this is wrong". Honestly it was pretty measured and reasonable. However, the revelation that pat PLAYS SONIC SLOW, SEARCHING FOR SECRETS, is one of the most insane things he's ever said alongside thinking sonic 2 is better than 3.
17:42 no, that's the assumption Pat made that fucked him over. He assumed the forks were trouble so he kept slowing down for them and getting poked as a result. He never figured out that as long as Peppino keeps sprinting he is invulnerable and can just bust through enemies like Kool-Aid Man going through a wall.

Was not expecting Woolie to play, let alone stream this after the Catsle Super Beast episode. So this is a treat. Even if this doesn't become a full lp, I'm glad Woolie at least tried it and is seemingly having fun with it. Imo this is an amazing game with some great movement, charming artstyle, and amazing ost. Looking forward to how Woolie gets through this. Also small tip, if you're not fond of the current control layout, you can change that in the options menu. I did that to make the ground pound a button instead of the stick. But it's whatever works best for you.

what I love about the dual phases of the bosses is, the first phase teaches you the patterns, the second phase mixes them all together as the real challenge
