I was asked to build this official lot in The Sims 4 Growing Together! 

As someone who renovates community lots to include toddler care rooms and kids activity spaces, Im so, SOOO excited to play in this venue

Deli I love this build so much!!! As a mom I spent so much time at my local library, I brought my babies for storytime❤ it was a great place to make friends with other parents. This build was so thoughtful and beautifully laid out!! You know know what? It just hit me James did the library in Werewolves and you couldn’t wait to Reno it with an industrial vibe……look at you now Girlie!!! Go Deli Go……I’m so happy for you❤

I can't tell you how happy it makes me to hear all those 'I asked them if they could make a plain version' stories! Thank you Deli!! That's what we needed I suppose, somebody who knows what simmers really want and fight for us to get those items/versions. (The floor tiles are also such a nice addition, but the shelf - yes! Plain version, yes yes yes!)

Sitting here waiting for the pack to drop. Knowing you and Simsie helped with it sold me. I knew the builds would be phenomenal! And the gameplay is gonna be so good!!! Congratulations on helping with such a huge expansion! Update: am I the only one that realized woohoo is a SKILL now?! 🤯

Asking for the matching tile and the plain bookshelves was a lifesaver for the build/buy, thank you for asking for them! I ended up redoing this build, because we already had the rec center, but the shape was so cool and interesting I saved it to plop somewhere else. You've done some really interesting stuff with the exterior and interior layouts with the last few builds.

Deli, this is honestly the most amazing library I've seen! Your creativity never ceases to amaze me. So happy for you getting the recognition you deserve! xx

Wayfinding was definitely a big trend in library-land, i.e. using colors and natural design to help people find their own way around. The new items really do look like a lot of library furniture. (I'm a librarian)

I love the asthetic of this library! The other libraries are too old fashioned for my liking.. great job Deli and it's awesome they took yours and Kaylas suggestions and implemented them. That's why we need simmers to collaborate on every pack :)

Deli this build is so awesome. I feel like I could actually go to this library, I can imagine walking through it. When you're talking through your official sims builds, be confident and proud of them because they're awesome! (Small aside- Could you make the parent room for the babies door frosted glass, just for some privacy for nappy changes and breastfeeding etc.)

I already have 3 families in san sequia and ive been to both your lots and kaylas lots multiple times. Your library is by far the best library in the sims 4. U are such a great creator and i love your content. Both u and kayla are helping me through a rough time rn so thank you. I love how our community is pretty much immune to bad blood and rudeness. ❤❤❤❤❤

We call those glass corridors between buildings "skyways." They often cross streets with skyways in my hometown. In fact, there are nearly 10 miles of skyways in Minneapolis. The buildings themselves have corridors that are a part of the system, so you can make your way across town in the skyway system. Restaurants, stores and banks and places you might frequent have locations on the skyway level and sometimes you do have to step up/down a bit because buildings are built at different times in the history of the city. It is to avoid traffic, but it is really used to avoid weather. Like -40F is not frequent, but not unusual either.

The exterior of this building is gorgeous! Love how you built out the entrance and continued with these built-out areas around the building. Such a wonderful way to break up the box shapes. Interior-wise, I think having the colored areas is such a clever idea and all the nooks makes it so cozy. Excited to visit this library in-game. Oh, girl... to be asked again to build for a pack just shows what we all know, - you are a fantastic builder.

This is a great build, Deli! It definitely feels like a library that would exist in the real world (a very nice one ^^). You did an awesome job at making the space not feel empty, even if you couldn't crowd it with items. As you said, the colours help with that, as well as the shapes of the building itself.

I have my computer open and ready to download the new pack in 29 minutes exactly. So excited!!!!!

The bookshelves Deli requested are pretty awesome, and the rounded corners you can add separately are pretty nice. If I ever get the pack I'll be using those a lot.

First YT video I saw with Deli was the StrangerVille series battling against the big mama plant back in '19. Quite a journey and privilege to then be asked to build a community lot in the game for sure.

I'm a little late to the game watching this video BUT I visited this lot for the first time in game yesterday and was in awe of how gorgeous it was! I don't really need another library in my game, but I loved the exterior way too much to bulldoze so I'm turning it into a duplex for one of my households. Wonderful job!

As a library student it was really cool to see your build as a community space 💖

the bridges remind me so much of melbourne emporium/melbourne central station, the glass bridges that connect the two buildings! love it

i'm in nsw - my local library sells coffee and proceeds go towards helping the library :) - it's surprising good coffee too so i love the addition of the coffee corner

I'm so happy you requested that the shelves with the shapes also come in a plain variant! :D That makes them more usable in various build which is really nice. I don’t normally ever go to any lots outside of my sims home. This build makes me wanna expand my typical game play! Love this!

Great looking library, lots of cool different spaces, it feeks like a great place to hang out. I know it would have been too much work to program but how cool would it have been if those shelves with the shapes actually could have kids crawl into them to read. They look so comfy to snuggle up into. In fact! I want to snuggle up into them and I'm a full grown dude.

Being able to help do the builds that come with the game and the sims teams using feedback, is what being a game changer should have always been. I’m glad they’ve been letting you guys do this the last three years.

LOVE this build! It's definitely my favorite Sims library but it may be my favorite community lot! It's so well thought out and looks like a real library! Especially with not only having sections (including ones for all ages) but color coding them! It reminds me of many libraries in my area. ❤️ I also am SO glad you requested the shelf without the shapes! Its exactly something I've been looking for that's modern but not overly stylized. It will fit perfectly into a lot of my houses. ❤️ Congratulations on a job well done!

Im gonna be honest with you. My first thought yesterday was to tear down the library cause we have so many. (I didnt at that point of time know that you made it) HOWEVER I did decide to check it out and I was soo amazed that I NOPED out of the idea of tearing it down. :D I will just have to find some other bigger lot in some other world to place my home. ♥ tldr: I LOVE it. nice job! ♥

As a mom of two, ive spent soo much time at our local library. Ill most certainly play this lot. The only thing i think ill add is a reception area for the librarian to sit at!

This lot looks so beautiful!! It’s so cool to hear how EA creates lots and the restrictions builders have to work around.

It makes me so happy that they are giving players like you and others the chance to do these builds. You know the games so well from a player and builder experience and I think it’s great that they are collaborating so well with those who love the game. Congratulations, I can’t wait to get off work so I can finally see all of this in action.

Thank you so much for requesting versions of those shelves without the shapes. Would have been heartbreak to finally get bookshelves that can sit next to each other and then have them be unusable 90% of the time. It’s such a pain to make libraries and place book shelves next to each other because all the bookshelves have weird spacing bubbles around them. Especially on console where we can’t do cheats like MoveObject (because if we turn cheats on it disables our ability to get achievements or milestones in other games). We were so excited to see in the trailer that we finally have just regular height, normal shelves we can build libraries with.

I love this library! I used to go all the time with my kids, we would have loved this library, and I will definitely play with my sims there!

The fact that not even 2 minutes into the build tour there's already a book left on the floor has to be the most sims thing ever. Btw Deli all 3 build are awesome, you and Kayla did an amazing job as always!

Omg my uni library had a bridge with big glass windows connecting two buildings, and had colour areas too! Blue is the loud floor and Green is the quiet floor

I've had a hard time catching up with all the videos, so here's one for all of them: The builds are amazing. Idk how you do it, taht you have a vision in your head that is so good and new and something I wouldn't come up with. You keep reaching further and further. It really shows that you spend a lot of time browsing magazines and reading about this. You always do something different, even if it may not feel like it. Everyone as their comfort-zone, but you don't have problems stepping out of it, which I think is really cool. I hope you will get to build more and more official builds, because you always do an amazing job.

I’m a real-life library assistant, and this library is so good and realistic! The shapes in the bookcases are definitely spots where I’d display new books.

It's so cute! I just started playing the new pack and took my sim to the library and was thinking about how much I loved it as I played! I only changed one thing. The lot required a woohoo bush. I took a nerdy sim there on a date. Haha.

I've been playing Sims since the very first one and I always try to get as many packs add ONS kits whatever's they want to make I'll take it. Mst recently the version of Sims4 I have is on a console. I just realized after watching a video of yours where you talked about the amount of wall papers and not to use a variety ect. I'm paraphrasing I was thinking about that and looking at the houses I build and I realized the bathroom almost always match the kitchen. I use one flooring everywhere else and make up for it with rugs. I use so few wall papers. I just have I guess noticed the small things over the years of gameplay that make the game slower especially since I tend to save for more packs rather then a better gaming console. I even do the thing with the copying the landscape around you when you build. I'm 28 and I've been playing since elementary school I don't remember exactly which grade though 😅

The library looks relly good. I like the flow of it as well as the space for the sims to walk around without walking thru one another. The colors work perfectly and thanks for asking for the shelves to be plain without the shapes.

I hardly play big families bc I feel like there’s not a lot of places in the game to take a big family but this pack and this BUILD especially makes me so excited!!! I love going to libraries irl and dream about taking my future children to libraries and this one is absolutely incredible and so inspiring!!!
