I was recently asked to play a three hour improvised solo saxophone gig. I had no preconceived ideas or plans, I just improvised. After doing some reflection on what did and didn’t work, I’ve compiled some tips and ideas for solo saxophone improvisation.
I was not sponsored or asked to mention any of the venues or curated art works, just reflecting a cool experience I had with them.
The art shown was curated by Andrew Varano of Sweet Pea. You can find more of their work here:

The creators/artists of the works in shown in the video are as follows (in order of appearance in the final montage)
Work 1: Marla Bendini
Work 2: Patrick William Carter
Work 3: Patrick William Carter
Work 4: Luisa Hansal
Work 5: Nazerul Ben Dzulkefli
