Hopefully some of those folks who purchase either cats or dogs through the puppy-mill process are watching this video as they are directly responsible for this video. They are responsible for the pain and distress this ‘cute little ball of fur’ has gone through and will continue for the rest of his life due to the by-product of poor breeding practices. For every wonderful ‘Little Bear’ rescue there are at least 10X as many poor cats and dogs that suffer far worse fates due to the practices of shady breeders.
@@remyb8887 Here in Washington St. That abuse can make an owner a felon. Little Bear is one of the coolest pups ever seen. Four-legged treasure. I served overseas, and seen some bad abuse.
The best part of every introduction is how you always act like a 10 year old who just got a dog for their birthday. The love you exude for each and every dog is awesome!

Every time Lee rescues a new dog I can’t help but think…”Oh pup….you just landed in doggy Heaven!” No matter how scared, sick, or disabled they are, I know that they will just blossom in the days to come.❤️❤️❤️
My dog had a hormonal issue which caused bald spots and even a ‘rat’ tail. My current dog has thyroid issues so he is on soloxine which keeps him stable. I also had a blind dog(caused by glaucoma). He was a real trooper to. Knew his way around even if we changed the furniture!!! I am so happy to see how much love Bear will receive..
I love it, I love lees reaction each and everytime, I love how his voice goes all high pitched and super gooey, (side note I do that with our animals, so totally normal) Can't wait for him to meet Matilda, little bear welcome to paradise. 💞💞
How could anyone with a sane mind abandon such a lovable cuddly bear like him? So glad you got him Lee, he will have the best of attention and importantly love.
As a Chow rescuer, we see mixes and purebreds abandoned. The reason you don’t see them in shelters is because they are not made available to the public for adoption due to liability. They have a reputation worse than a pit bull…some jurisdictions like Harris Co/Houston TX require euthanasia for all Chows > 6 months if not released to a rescue group. Its not fair, but we see owners release dogs rather than face certain death in an animal control facility because of these policies!
@@pamalamcbrayer1399they will euthanise because it's a certain breed, even with no history of any problems with it !? WTF! I've never heard of a Chow dog attack here, or elsewhere. They used to be quite popular when I was growing up in the 70's in the UK. But seem quite rare now.
@@pamalamcbrayer1399 its actually german shepherd, the most populars dog in the world. The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) conducted a study and concluded that German Shepherds were one of the most dangerous breeds based on bite severity and frequency of biting. This is not surprising given the fact that German Shepherds have one of the most powerful bites of all breeds. But it is never the dogs fault. We all need to remember that. You cant blame a dog for attacking. That is just it!
A pocket chow, he’s absolutely adorable and couldn’t be in better hands than Lee’s. Don’t get me started on irresponsible backyard breeders who were probably responsible for Little Bear’s difficulties, but bless those who found him and got him to Asher House. This fuzzy bundle of love and life is going to be fun to watch with the pack.💕🐾🐾
Entropian is a known issue with most Asian breeds. I rescue Chows and Siberian Huskies. It isn’t necessarily “bad breeding”, although backyard/for profit breeders often will not correct these issues if they arise in a puppy before selling or give health guarantees to 1 year. A reputable breeder should disclose an issue, make treatment a requirement of sale if it is too soon to correct, and follow up on the owner. The Chow community is pretty tight. If one breeder has problems with a buyer, the others may refuse to sell to that person later. Unfortunately this creates that backyard puppy milling incentive…Chows in pet stores. Don’t get me started, omg!
@@pamalamcbrayer1399 Little Bear also has microthalmia, which is a genetic defect, a responsible breeder would not have that in their line. It’s sad and maddening at the same time. Thank you for your rescue work, and may blessings come your way.
@@topcatwarriorwhat do you mean by "responsible breeder would not have that in their line?" I'm curious because I recently overheard a conversation between breeders and it angered me to no end so I'm soooooooo curious also I don't know what that Illness is but I'm about to educate myself
@@denap21 Responsible breeders genetically test the dogs they breed to make sure they are not carrying genetic defects that can be passed down the line to the puppies. Responsible breeders work to ensure that the breed stays strong and healthy. Backyard breeders do it for profit and likely don’t care beyond getting puppies born and sold. I’m just glad Lee Asher is there to give Little Bear his best forever home.
Well Lee, you’ve saved another fluff darling. Not helped, fostered, or just rescued, you have saved his precious little life. I wish you all the success you deserve. You already have all the love. From them AND us. You are a true gift to this world and your watching your videos are some of my most special times. Thank you Lee and all of Asher House!!
I totally agree with this comment - GOD BLESS YOU Lee and the Asher House for Loving Caring Being There Always for all the Fur Babies in need - Love and Blessings to you all
I am so so happy for a little bear right now that I’m crying because I know he is going to have a wonderful recovery. Lee you’re awesome and your crew is awesome.
Oh my goodness. So fluffy and chubby with those little bear ears. I pray the vets can save his eyesight and make him more comfortable. Otherwise the little guy has hit the jackpot as a permanent pack member 😊
I cannot get over how extremely cute little bear is or your sweet reaction. I know he will be forever loved. Btw, if you’re looking for a best friend, boyfriend, or a live in admirer-I AM YOUR MAN 😂❤🐶
Honestly, I can't tell you how many times I've re-watched this on Instagram. The connection is undeniable, the love is undeniable, the energy is undeniable. Your amazing, never change, never give up, keep loving these amazing floofs! 🙏🙏❤️❤️
With all the problems that dog has, it's good he found Asher House. He's going to be cared for, loved to bits. Can't wait to see him groomed to perfection!
Anticipating the followup and the vet visit. Little Bear is hurting. Already know this boy is going to get the best care and love. He is beautiful!❤ Congratulations on your new son, Lee!
Lee, there’s nothing that compares to the pure love you give each and every dog. It’s palpable and Little Bear can feel it. My heart sings watching you love on these precious dogs and how they respond. 💓🙏
I am so happy to see You happy to get the dog of your dreams. You do so much for all the dogs and now it's your turn. Little Bear is so precious. It's as if he isn't even real. He looks like one of the dogs stuffies.❤😊
Lee…tears in my eyes as I watch you, and Little Bear together! The way he hung on to you was heartwarming! He loves you already! Welcome to the pack! ❤️
I had a red chow and a black Akita. Both have cross over the rainbow bridge 🌈. But the Akita fought off a black bear. My dad had him tied and the black bear got the best of him 😢.
I had a beautiful black Chow ~ Izzie. She lived a good life of 16yrs. She was a gift from above. Loyal, happy & loved her family. All dogs go to heaven!
What a cutie! I'm sad he's blind, but he seems to adjust quickly. Being with Lee he will never want for anything!!!!! I can't wait for updates when he's introduced to his new brothers and sisters!!!!! God knew where he belonged. God bless you Little Bear!
This made me cry. Oh my goodness. He's definitely got some health issues, but I know he will be taken care of. His eyes must hurt. Bless you, Lee, and you are safe, Little Bear. ❤🐶
Im gonna need constant updates ❤ this dog is just a living teddy bear and must be protected at all cost. So happy he found his way to Lee, this little buddy is gonna have the best doggy life.
Unbelievable. How can he be a stray dog !! He is such a beautiful and cute dog. He hugs you like a baby 🤗. This sweet little munchkin deserves a good life ❤️
Because he's not perfect. People want perfect dogs and they'll pay any price to get one, including the suffering of other dogs. The laws in place for breeding just aren't enough, there needs to be aggressive public education on this issue.
Little Bear, a new energy in your life, a forever fulfillment and joy from the moment you held him in your arms...that reaction when you hugged him takes that first bonding experience to a higher spiritual level. This is what I call real light, love and hope. Little Bear, Lee, the world is around you and it is full of amazing, amazing things. You both deserve it. Thank you for having such a Big Heart 💖💓!!! 💞🇭🇺
The universe has brought you Little 🐻Bear. And the universe has brought you to me. Only recently, but better late than never. The joy you bring to my heart, watching you rescue these critters is nothing compared to the joy you bring them for coming to the rescue. I keep saying the same thing but it is worth saying again. THE WORLD IS A BETTER PLACE WITH YOU IN IT. ❤
I do not know why, but Little Bear came into my mind while visiting the Hungarian Pannon Planetary Observatory 📡in the Bakony National Park. I looked into the huge telescope 🔭, and I saw Little Bear 🐻 flying around the sun🌞✨🪐 with his arms opened, sending hugs to humanity, and smiling. He was definitely sent to Lee from this magical Universe, travelling through the black hole🕳️ 🌠 reaching the Earth, like an extraterestrial IT👾 landing right on Lee's shoulders, creating this magical instant love between the two of them💞👍. Such a great feeling of relief knowing that Little Bear will be forever loved, not only by Lee, but all of us who care about the animal world🐾🐕, about our planet 🌎, about our nature🌲🌳🌴, not to mention our care for this enormous galaxy which contributed to the creation of life on Earth🙏🐛🦋🪱🦗🐙🐳🐬🐣🐕🦖🦍. 💞X
Thank you for caring so dearly for Little Bear. My wife and I love the Chow Chows. The Chows are a special and regal breed. They love "their" pack and are truly loyal to them. Our house wouldnt be the same without Chow. Thank you again for caring and loving one of gods special creatures.
Lee that little bear is just hugging you with such love and gratitude. It's great to see you and that beautiful fluff ball make such a connection!!!🐻🐻🐻🐻♥️♥️♥️🤩🤩🤩
Little bear must feel so grateful to have found you and the pack. And the pack will be blessed to have him! The Asher house is truly heaven for these dogs. ❤️
Every time you say " You never have to worry again, Lets Go Home" my ❤ melts. He is So Precious. I can't wait to see how much progress he makes being in a Loving environment.
I cried, I sure cried. what a joy he is. I cannot wait for the pack to meet him especially Matilda. I will be so curious to see what they get up to. so precious. another one hits the jackpot coming to the Asher House. You are all winners.
Little Bear has landed exactly where he should be and with who he should be with. I know with Lee’s love he will come on in leaps and bounds and blossom beautifully like so many before him. I love Lee so much for not turning his back on differently abled animals. My pack of 5 were all wonky ( affectionate term and not derogatory) like myself and my partner and as have never once regretted being owned by any of them. We now have only two left in our pack and they still give me far more than any human ever could. Thank you Lee and team for all that you do ❤❤❤❤
Lee's excitement every time he rescues an animal is beautiful to see. Little Bear is one lucky pup to be a permanent part of The Asher House pack. Can't wait to see him thriving in future videos.
Lee, when I saw him put his head down on your shoulder, I saw his whole soul exhale and relinquish all his love to you! You were utterly falling in lo e with this gentle baby boy. Be careful, because surely,he will be mischievious, too! I don't often comment, but you are their reward for being angels on Earth.
He is a sweet boy!! He loves you so very much, and you him!! How could you not love that little ball of fluff. Little Bear was meant to be one of your children!! I love ya always!!❤❤❤🥰
Oh Lee! Little Bear just knew you were his the moment you picked him up. He knew you were his home, his person.❤ He knew he was loved immediately. That is your gift. Your magic gift.
With a name like Little Bear he deserves all the love and care that you can give him Lee. Thank you for rescuing yet another lost animal. He's now in the loving care of the Animal Angel Lee Archer. God bless all of you and your entire pack Lee.❤
@@lorifiedler13 Its like those appeals you see on TV. For the poor African children who have the same eye condition. They are in permanent agony. And end up going blind. I'm just praying Little Bear isn't in pain. I'm sure Lee and the vets will do everything necessary to ensure he,s comfortable. 😢 So sad for Bear, but new hope for his future. ❤❤🙏♥️
What I thought as well about his poor eyelashes scraping his eyes omg it must be just awful 😢. They can do surgery to repair that so sooner rather than later for this “Little Bear”🐻
Bless him! He looks like a teddy bear. I had a chow with bilateral entropion, he had surgery to correct it, and never had a problem again, his sight was completely restored. Good luck with this cuddlebug 🐶🐾💜
