I am so happy that I was offered the opportunity to view beautiful gardens and see a stunning classic home in the countryside of New England and listen to guest speaker Jenny Rose Carey share her knowledge of shade gardens. Reading comments of temperatures in SW Idaho of 95 ti 105. Thought it was a typo indicating the high desert , goodness that's hot. Here in Southern California it is ALWAYS 95 to 105 ....LOL What a beautiful tour , grew up in WI, and upstate New York. Really miss the green and the clouds in the sky.. Absolutely spectacular!!! The home is gorgeous- was the interior just as beautiful? What was her decorating style? I’m picturing traditional New England.... it almost had a Cape Cod feel to it. And that pool house! Wow- just wow! The gardens/lawns were amazing. I love the field of ornamental grasses! Such a different idea!

Oh my goodness. I was transported. This is such a beautiful property, I am always intrigued at how someone is blessed to live in a home and garden like this. Being surrounded by nature and that incredible blue sky and billowy white clouds. Its like heaven on earth. I am so grateful to own my little house, but when I look out the kitchen window I see a brick wall 25 feet out. I have a beautiful garden and old brick fireplace and mantel and hanging candle chandelier over the iron table. Its really beautiful, but I would love to see a view and vista like this. Never ending life before your eyes.

What a lovely setting…. they obviously have a great deal of pride in their beautiful gardens. I have been a member of a garden club in Massachusetts in the past, and will hopefully be joining a local garden club here in the Monadnock region this fall. Thank you so much! I'm surprised at how few New England garden tours there are! They all seem to be on the West Coast or down South which is strange since New England and the North East in general have some of the most beautiful and mature gardens in America.
