Back in the day we were told no instancing, use your gear everywhere, no going past +15 so everyone could compete, and no gun class. Now we have instances, capped node wars, pri-pen enchancement levels, and corsair awakening using a gun and them arguing it's not then announcing they're going to be working on a gunner class.

Also blue your content is good even though I dislike your options sometimes and i hardly disagree with your views I can say besides this you have a great talent for entertainment and I think you can make it way further if you ever decide to expand besides bdo. Ball was bad because the content we are getting is overall a bad direction for the game. Splitting the community further with guild rankings and new hard core servers few will use, introducing more Loml bosses that people will do a few times and stop because the rewards are ass and not repeatable, literally no mention of any lifeskilling addition other than a mansion that can automate some processing with workers, a new region when we have mediah dreighan and moew which all need purpose breathed back into them, and new gear that has no purpose outside the desire of personal progress. The only interesting thing was that 100 floor dungeon they teased which I bet you anything is gonna be like that 3 man wave defense game mode where the first time rewards are going to be good and then it’ll just sit and rot until it gets removed like everything else. Just feels like the devs are putting in minimal effort at this point instead of creating new fun and exciting content. It all feels dull, recycled, and underwhelming. Guess they’re just going for the bag

Worst ball ever, the people that are happy are just happy because of the free stuff everytime, and that free stuff is destroying the economy which is already a complete joke, thank you Jay for all the time I spent grinding billions for those usefull accuracy accessories ! I really would like to know if they even look at the numbers of players doing each content, because why would you do more of the land of the morning light, liek how many people just skip the quest to get the reward and do the book, wtf. I heared form a guild member you are very nice and fun to be around when the camera is off, but once its on the swearing beginns. does that make you anti brand save? :D As for the content at the ball, i feel like they run out of stuff to show. everything we got around april could just have been in this ball and ppl would have gone nuts. there is very little qol they can still do (other than the fairy system) and the new regions will take most of their time, while they cant show much without spoilers, or its not finished enough. they could still delete some items, but again, who cares that much. my guess is they will introduce something they didnt show like with last ball. the accessories they postponed could have been very exiting, but they already said its not good enough rn. The big problem continues to be pvp. and unless they change course, wich we all know they wont just do like that, this could lead to a large part of this branch dying. the game will continue, but i guess they want pvp to take a different role? i still dont get why they need to change nw and stuff to the point no one goes there to actually pvp, but if thats what they want... i wonder if they want real pvp to be completly separated from the pve grind.

Do I remember those old Balls where things like trade rework were talked about? Sure. The Heidel Ball rewards were weak. Nothing at all for lifeskillers. Delayed expansion zone due to “localization”. A new class that was not properly tested and delivered DOA and already had to be buffed on the most recent global labs. The in game economy is absolutely in the dumpster. And that gif for console “optimization” was the absolute Chefs Kiss. I think the issue is that this Ball left alot to be desired. The truth is we should expect crumbs for BDO for the next year + due to Crimson Desert going through final pass and then release. All development effort and energy will be prioritized for Crimson Desert. Remember there is a very strong reason PA never does Q and A sessions at the Ball. They don’t want to have to deal with negativity or critical questions. When Jae is surrounded by protection, what do you expect?

not the worst ball ever, but we have a ball every 6 months and the earliest we’ll see any of the map expansion content they’ve teased is 5 months away… so can’t say there is much to write home about And that’s also assuming the vague ideas of “this is what the future of BDO will look like” don’t end up like so much of the other content from previous balls that was completely forgotten about by PA… or never got implemented how it was originally announced if we even do get to see it J may not be sucking ideas out of his thumb right on stage anymore, but after these years that still doesn’t make me believe I’m not being lied to by J. With the way PA runs BDO getting hyped about anything before the patch has dropped is a waste of energy. Maybe you had a more enjoyable experience being able to partake in J’s private castle pleasure party, but at home just watching the stream this ball was extremely barren and the meagre 2 Hammers and 1 box code didn’t help things either. Other balls may have had more J fantasy and lies but at least ample codes coming out of community interaction with the mass of players that weren’t physically present

From consoles PoV it was the worst ball, 10 sec slot for us. We ain't even 5th class citizens. As for the future of BDO it was fucking sick in terms of content, 4 content additions (loml2, demon land, winter2 and Magnus past).

IMO it was the worst ball ever. I still remember the first balls where they presented like 7-8 ideas per ball where maybe 2 actually ever got implemented into the game. But I made the realisation for myself really fast, that what they were presenting there weren't promises of what's to come for BDO, but ideas they had on what could be implemented into BDO in the future. That way I had a less angry perspective on it. I have to admit that I barely play the game anymore and mostly haven't done all that actively since Russia Siege. so I barely know what the problems are in PVP since Russia Siege was the last active part of me there. But I still see some general flaws of the game in general, specifically endgame related and mainly in the itemization. And the reason on why this ball was the worst for me is that it doesn't adress these flaws. There will be new acessories on debo level with mixed ap and dp stats sure, but in the end that will still be the same and barely bring any diversity. Armors are still all the same, no diversity and no other armors announced. The new weapons announced basically take the little diversity there still was away. Sure you can add the bonuses onto it that you want or need, but in the end everyone will grind the same spots to get the same items to get the same weapon to then somewhat personalize it. And then to enhance said weapon, it is the same tedious stuff that is already there for the debo grind. Gring for money, buy crons, enhance, repeat. No diversity. Also this is a more personal issue for me nowadays: To make stuff rare or hard to get, the game doesn't challenge you in terms of skill. It gatekeeps upgrades behind a rng system. This doesn't feel deserving. Sure they countered the insanely unlucky streaks of some players with the pity system, but I still feel like the time invested compared to the upgrade you get and how much stronger you actually feel is not balanced. I look at my gear and I see no reason to go for debo accessories because the despair I would get failing PEN over and over and repeating the same process of grinding crons or a hammer to then finally get it and get 500-1k trash per hour more (from 1 PEN debo) is just not worth it. I can already access all areas and many parts of the game cap you in your gear anyway. Anyways, hope you have a nice day an keep being you!
