Skating on chip seal is hellish. You’re a beast! Ive done these kinda trips on a bike. One thing I learned is you gotta be flexible with your plan. Don’t be afraid of spontaneity and a little detour. Def not trying to tell you how to do your trip just sharing what I experienced and how I changed my approach to touring. My unsolicited advice is listen to your body and the people you meet not your schedule. Mentally you’re unstoppable just don’t let that strength break your body! Have a great trip, C# or Bb ..peace

Tuned in today for the first time.....I will be amazed if your bearings hold out for the whole trip...trucks too for that matter...Are you going to go south of the Chesapeake Bay to get to Virginia Beach, or north and down the Delmarva coast across the bay bridge tunnel?. I would check first to see if they will let you use the bay bridge on a skateboard (you probably already did that)......Good luck!...Super rad of you to do this!

True the advice I would give to any guy in their early 20's feeling lonely or unsuccessful in finding a partner don't dwell on it and just go out there and do everything you ever wanted to do most real meaningful stuff doesn't require all that much money. Eventually you will find someone and then be way more attractive due to your life experiences and have interesting tales and things to tell. The worlds getting full of people full of misery and self loathing but never did anything to change it. Once you are in a relationship have kids or busy with jobs... you would then rue that you wasted so much time feeling sorry in the same 4 walls time is the most valuable asset that money can't buy

Have you heard of rails to trails by chance? It’s an organization that creates bike and skate paths, where there once was a railroad . Not sure how far it extends across the country, but it might be worth checking out : )

You can do legs up the wall to help reduce inflammation and swelling. Just lay with your butt up against the wall with your legs going up. When I get sore legs or ankles and need a quick fix while I'm out, I find sitting in lotus or half lotus and practicing deep breathing can help relax my muscles and relieve some pain. Good luck and keep pushing
