The "old west" vibes here were really good. It's a very different sound. There wasn't much to this track, but it was calming and melodic. The vocals were good. Cool lyrics as well.

Such a simple but beautiful song. Sometimes less really is more. Loved when the little whistle came in and kinda gave it a spaghetti western vibe.

Beautiful. Everything about this song and your reaction to it was beautiful. My only complaint: I wish the song was longer. Haha! But honestly, this was incredible.

awesome!! Now If we could only get a Crippled Black Phoenix reaction. You’ve already heard Invisible Past and it blew you away. ‘In The Night’ would give you a different experience than the first. Another Jonathan Hulten one to react to would be Wasteland or The Mountain. I’m glad you liked this. I knew you would. A great Porcupine Tree reaction would be ‘Collapse The Light Into Earth’ studio version from In Absentia, perhaps my favourite song of all time. Steven Wilson is a genius. Although that song might really hit home. I really connected with the song during my divorce. I relate to you a lot.

I followed this guy (Jonathan) since he played guitar with the Tribulation. So artistic, so talented. Thank you for that video, for your approach. Had teary eyes too when I first watched it. And again, and again. I wish you good luck. You're definetely a good person. That's all that matters in these harsh times. Greetings from far, cold Siberia.

The artwork to this is simply amazing. According to the description he did it himself. I felt the song was beautiful, too, although folk is not what i usually listen to. I really enjoyed it. Although the theme of the song, the style and the artwork are very different, for some reason I was instantly reminded of a song by A.A. Williams, All I asked for. Much love my friend 🖤

you know I'm a proud and profound atheist, but what is common in every path a human takes, chosen or not, is the loneliness and solitude to find out who we are. Mine is a harsh and rough path, 'cause I don't have beliefs. Everypath is singular and tough, the only thing that makes us strong is knowing us, and that's exactly what also puts us down sometimes. You help us, and your shares are helpfull. I only hope that'shelpfull for you too and not only painfull.

Wow... I subbed after watching your "Anciients" content and then got this video on my for you page since then but didn't feel compelled to click. Now I did and was half-expecting to get blown away by some heavy music and got caught off-guard with the most fitting lyrics that needed to find me right now and you allowing me to also cry by being a "leading example" so to speak was very freeing and raw. And it really brings your "schtick" you say at the beginning of the video and what your intent is for your channel all the way home. Thank you for sharing this experience with me, blessings!

Adding to that, I was raised christian but very early became a totally uninformed atheist. I just didn't believe in anything I couldn't see. And after I started using psychedelics when I was 28 things started to shift and at some point I arrived in what I now would call "temporary christianity" phase, where I like you said evalued everything I wanted or liked and wanted to cut out everything that wasn't leading me to pure light. And I still think there is some truth in this, but I found out it is easier to let go of things once you are ready to and not once a book (or self-help channel for that matter) tells you to. Everything is a piece of your personal puzzle and anything can be "your ghost" not just things that are sins. And once you/we/I have played through all of this, I suspect we either move on/die or arrive fully here, in "physical paradise". Who knows, eternal life is right around the corner. God is to me the same thing as the soul, conciousness, pure awareness, unconditional love and non-attachment. God is that which experiences everything at once and thus it feels like nothingness and there is nothing to point to and identify and nothing that can judge a human, nothing that thinks something is unfair. Like the band "Hippotraktor" say: "God is in the slumber, yet I remain awake." We are the ones that can point to ourselves and call ourselves awake, no matter how "asleep" we might be, we are the ones who have context to judge. Because our experiences is dense and limited enough to have a "point of view" but I am very sure there is no grey man in the sky judging us. Blessings

That was so cool! Great video and the music sounded kind of familiar and folky/country western. Very calming, like a nice warm blanket for your ears. ☺ Dude I'm glad you don't edit out your emotions. You're a real one Tommy! ♥

Vulnerability doesn't feel normal but that's what engaging in it makes it special. You didn't have to publish your thoughts but you did and putting yourself out there isn't easy. But it's not supposed to be... But know your community is here for you because we can hold the space for such vulnerability because your videos do that for us. Apostasy is a lonely journey. You willingly break all that encases you which is another act of vulnerability but it's also jarring and very scary. As time goes on though, being true to yourself, being vulnerable with yourself, gives way to finding yourself. Slowly, you'll surround yourself around all that validates you, invigorates you, challenges you, and protects you. It takes time but I can promise you that it gets better. Leaving religion is the best and most painful decision I've ever made but more importantly it's the most empowering. You'll get there and vulnerability in the face of the unknown is the first step. Proud of you brother. Here for you.

I appreciate that more than you know my dude. This year has been such a wild ride of emotions, and just looking inward. I'm so grateful for all the amazing people I've met along the way and yea, I think I will always feel cringe opening up here. I don't wanna be "THAT GUY" on youtube who seems like he just wants attention. Of anything its quite the opposite. Thanks for being a great human!

I agree. Just outstanding. Thanks for putting this in front of me. ••• I'm pretty sure most of us would like to give you a big hug and just tell you it'll all be okay -- just maybe not today. Some of us might need to stand on a small box, though. (-; I carry one around just for contingencies. It's in my trunk with the tarp, zip-ties and duct tape.
